Heybe Döner — Restaurant in Lefkoşa Türk Belediyesi

I would really like to say all the best about this place, but I can't. The workers are very kind, that is why we decided to choose this restaurant. This kind of döner is not my type. The salad tasted weird, the meat was dry and not spicy enough (although we got a big portion), the fries were re-heated I guess. The best part was the rice, that was okay. We got free pickles with it. Also a free glass of tea after the meal. We really wanted to try the local döner, but I guess there are tastier meals out there. It would be easy to dismiss Heybe as a tourist trap as it’s on the main tourist trail but whenever I want to feed my Adana kebab addiction this is my go-to place. Had to ask for the bill 4 times before finally getting it It took them 15 minutes to deliver the bill, the price for the meals is different everywhere you look. The special sign posted in front of the restaurants says the special is 8.50 euro the food and beer, was charged an extra 1.00 euro because in the menu it's 9.50 euro.
