O'Shin Restaurant — Restaurant in Paphos Municipality

Located in the Elysium hotel. It’s the pan Asian fine dining- we were recommend to book a day prior.

Nice interior with far east themes.

Menu- a rather mix selection of Chinese, Japanese, Thai dishes.

Had the sushi for starters - was good.

Then the miso beef cheeks which was good- shame about the lack of sauce and the burnt garlic slices which over powered the dish.

The monk fish massaman was good. Could do with more fish in the dish for what was a 32 Euro dish.

One rice portion came with the massaman. Probably need one per dish for two person.

The chocolate pearl desert was below average, it had fluid/liquid from the fruit cubes at the base of the dish and spoilt the overall taste- didn’t like the dish.

Good cocktails of margarita and vodka martini.

Service was good but a long delay to getting the bill due to a technical issue with the machine. A good alternative to fine dining in the area- other option is Divine Peak, 10minute walk up...

Very very good food. The sushi is excellent, a must have and the hot dishes were delicious, service is also excellent. A special treat!

For Cyprus it’s considered a bit pricey probably because it’s in a hotel and it’s not local food, expect to spend 3x the amount you would compared to local non touristy restaurants.

However, to put it into perspective it’s very high quality and if you were to get the same standard of meal in london (UK) you would be paying more money, need to book far in advance and only have an allotted time on the table so all things considered, I would say this...
