Where to start.. AWFUL! first of all I asked if they had seats available for me and my friends, the answer being yes, we sat. 5 minutes after a waiter comes to kick us out because it “busy” - THE AUDACITY! Like we are for the streets or what?? Then I asked if I can order food, the waitress sighed as heavily as possible and shouted “idk if we have time to do it it’s very busy !” Like it’s my problem ?? Finally, when we stood up to pay, we asked to pay separately, the guy at the cashier screamed “you don’t see that I have many orders?! You pay all together I don’t care you had to say it from the time you arrived !” Is it my problem again?? If you fancy a break from over-priced food and drinks Why Not? Is the answer. You'll get a great welcome from Sofos the guvnor and his barman Alex. There's a range of familiar draught beers, wine and spirits and quality home-cooked food. It's as good as opposite Almyra and Annabelle hotels and a stroll from the Old Port. Why Not? Has a British feel to it but it's far removed from the ghastly English/Irish pub copycats you'll find dotted around. Great breakfast and coffee. Sports bar, open all year round, 5 screens for sports and a dart board with 3 or 4 sets to choose from. All staff are very friendly (and funny) and speak good English - they are attentive and never seem rushed. The drinks prices are average food is good quality and well priced too. Good access for prams/wheelchairs. The selection of food/drink is vast. Steaks/pasta/breakfast/kids menu/desserts etc. cocktails, beer, cider and spirits are available, as are any coffees and soft drinks. They have free Wi-Fi....
