Air Cafe — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

I was sadly disappointed, especially after the great recommendations I’ve heard of this place. Unfortunately no one of the staff had the competence to attend the issues therefore ( To my distaste) I will write here-

The place is at top location of town, with carefully curated space, that was messed up by the poor attention of the stuff. The bar looked like a war zone, but my date insisted the drinks would compensate so I agreed to stay, if only to make her happy.

She wasn’t.

For starters it took them almost 10 minutes to approach after we already set ourselves.

Her old fashion was not well balanced and tasted dull.

On the other hand, my espresso Martini held an absolute taste- It was incredibly sweet taste of some liquor, Removing any chance to appreciate its quality except from the beautiful glass in which it was served.

Adam, the waiter was clearly not aware of our problems, but was easy to talk to when I came to pay. I tried to catch him before to complain but he was practically alone on the restaurant floor.

He said that he apologizes, yet they had a big reservation and they were short on staff. When asked by me to refer me to the manager - he pointed the “bartender” who was making jokes with some table while the Bar looks like a rooster rumbling arena.

I wasn’t willing to waste more of my time here, yet he was still confident enough to charge the full price of 437 CZ, and to express his hope next time will be better😤.

What a shameful experience this was, is there no standard to be found...

Great place for drinks, good position in city center and lovely inner yard of historical building that creates pleasant shade in summer heat. Staff in general is very polite, but me and my friend visited the bar on the weekend when the place was generally packed with people. The waiter waiting the tables outside tried to manage everything and he was running from one table to another. I had a feeling like I need to be really fast so he hears my order out. Actually, it happened twice that he was already on his way away from our table and I was still telling him what would I like to have for a drink. I didn't manage to say "water with lemon" for the first time out of these two cases. I needed to wait until he gets back to us so I can order further. I understand the situation, but I would recommend to change an approach a little bit, or maybe hire...

Located inside a museum building, this is my and my wife's go-to Brno bar for cocktails and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A lot of Czech RAF memorabilia and drinks named after pilots. The place seems to specialise in and is somewhat obsessed with rums, however there are plenty of other options as well. One beer on tap. Last time I checked, there was a very limited range of snacks and desserts. In the summer they have an outdoor patio in the inner yard of the building.
