U Třech čertů - Starobrněnská — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

Extremely bad experience. We are foreigners who speaks Czech, quite decently but, with accent. We walk into the place and ask for a table, all in Czech: they smile, understand and take us to it. We order beers, all in Czech: they smile, understand and take our order, bringing exactly what requested. We order food, all in Czech: they smile, understand and take our order, bringing exactly what requested. We asked to pay together, all in Czech: they smile, understand and bring the bill. However, when it comes to the tip, we verbally say "30 CZK" and she replies: "I DO NOT UNDERSTAND", we repeat, different people, but: "I DO NOT UNDERSTAND" looking at us as we are wasting her time, obviously in a hurry as there are quite a few tables busy, and then, she hand us the terminal where the tip percentages are visible 20%, 15%, 10% ... or whichever as I cannot remember properly the sall terminal screen. Obviously, outraged, we choose the minimum, 5% and, ironically, that was 39 CZK.

All this pathetic behaviour for just 9 CZK. They have a bad review, we will tell the story to all our friends in Brno, we will never ever go back and will never ever recommend .... for 9 CZK.

A nice place where food and beer is decent should not tolerate employees to behave this way. Miserable behaviour. Never going...

Place full of potential but unfortunately everything is thrown down the drain once they allow this extremely rude waiter (guy with tattoos on his arms and glasses) anywhere near the clients. Guy is throwing mugs on the table as if we are to blame for his personal problems. As if this wasn't bad enough I tried calling the place to book a table on the open area that I could watch the world cup match with my friends and the same guy answered that they could not make reservations for the tables outside, which was completely understandable considering that the place is constantly full of people. Once I got there, I noticed a couple finishing their food on one of those tables and politely asked if I could be taking the table after they would be done, they understood my situation and agreed without any kind of problem with that. The moment the couple paid their bill and left, me and my friends took the table and this same rude waiter came straight onto us saying that it does not matter if we agreed with the couple to stay with the table, we would have to leave because the table was RESERVED! Yes, you got it right! This douchebag BOOKED the table outside! From what I've read from previous reviews, it is not the first time that this waiter is mistreating the customers and something should be...

I ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in English bacon with cherry sauce and mashed potatoes with onion and bacon. The cherry sauce was absolutely delicious, rich and full of whole cherries, I really enjoyed it! The mashed potatoes, however, weren’t great. They were only roughly mashed, with big chunks of potato left and I barely found three tiny pieces of bacon. My sister had the chicken strips with spicy vegetable chutney and garlic dip, along with baked potatoes in foil with herb dip. She really liked both! The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the dips were a great match.

We also had the homemade orange lemonade with ginger - amazing! Super refreshing and flavorful. Definitely worth trying! 100/10

A couple of downsides: We were surprised to be charged 10 CZK for a takeaway box, that’s the first time I’ve seen that, since most places give it for free. Also, while I briefly stepped away to the restroom, the staff took away my plate even though I hadn’t finished my food yet. That was really disappointing and...
