Been there twice: on a first occasion back in september everything was just ok, on my second visit, yesterday, I didn't leave with a good impression at all. as a main dish, we decided to go for mussels which was 248 czk per portion and a salad as starter. when the order arrived there were two starters instead of one, but we've decided to leave it as is as we were rather hungry and the salad looked nice. the surprise was when the "main dish" arrived - the portions were just too small, even the shells were very small, not to even mention the mussel's meat which was almost non existent. I regret not taking a photo of them, but if i count the meat itself I'd say there were barely 50 grams of meat in there. the taste itself was ok, but come on - that looked like a joke for 250 crowns. This being said, I've eaten mussels in many countries before and i know perfectly what is this dish supposed to represent - no restaurant that respect itself would serve this as a main dish. P.S. i do understand they, most probably, didn't have the intention to chose the smallest mussels possible for their menu, but guys, if it happened that the mussels you ordered from your provider are as small as a peanut, then for god sake, don't count on them as a main dish - buy some shrimps and calamari on top and here you go, prepare a risotto with...
Read moreAuthentic café in a nice, hidden corner of Brno center. I liked the authenticity of interior and unusual offer of middle east and arabic-inspired dishes. . The servings are tasty and large, although i missed some smaller, lighter meal options- in the puctures you can see both meaty and vegan iption.
The cofee is average, hopefully they will improve. . The meals are tasty and made from good ingredience, the quality of serving improved significantly from my last visit- just see tge pictures (still i miss some fresh herbs). The pita could be made or a real woodeb fire, on stone or on a hot metal sheet, it tasted ok but felt like purchased in lidl. . It is worth coming here to try something new, out of the fairly generic coffee culture of Brno. The staff speaks english and they...
Read moreVery nice and cozy. The food was good, bit coffee was better. I would recommend both. What I wouldn't recommend would be coming here if you don't have an extensive amount of time in your hands. The service is very and I mean VERY slow. My friend got her food half an hour before I did, but even wine takes time. Finding out that they don't have chai latte took them good 15 minutes. Apart from this 'small' inconvenience, you will enjoy this place especially if you like Middle...
