Charlie's Square — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

Very nice and trendy spot in the city center. Lunch menus are usually among the top quality from the surrounding places, still prices are quite standard. Service is fine and responsive, sometimes you wait a while when sitting outside, especially during lunches (I recommend to go indoors). They have a reasonable selection for dinners, some czech classics, steaks, pasta, burgers. All is definitely worth the price, which is acceptable. Their own charlie's beer brewed in the premises is on tap, with several other known czech brands. Interiour is very nicely designed, with kitchen on display through a large serving window, so you can check how they prepare your meal...

Great place in the centre of Brno.

Been here a few times, and the service has always been from a high standard. Quick ordering and turnaround.

Food on the menu includes mostly meat heavy options as burgers, ribs, chicken and Czech classics as Svickova, Gulas (Hungarian sure, but still very common in Czech restaurants) and tatarak.

Menu does offer a few salads and pasta/risotto as well.

Another great thing is that they serve their own Charlie's beer (11° unfiltered).

Would recommend this place for group dinners or grabbing a beer in general.

Idk why, but I was there a year ago with one guy and we had some beer, which I hate, because of the fact that it always tastes the same and it really doesn't matter where do you drink or taste it and it's price. I also had some Caesar salad which was awful. Because here in CZ they are all the time and everywhere trying to put the cheapest components there. And don't be confused by some beautiful pictures shown in the menu you can mistakenly order it, but in reality it's just a salad leaves with lots of fat...
