We used to visit this place for quick snacks on weekends because the food was better, and they offered a 20% discount until 6 p.m. Earlier this year, we even ordered some vegetarian packs for a small event in Brno. Today, around 5:50 p.m., we placed a takeaway order for two naan and a chicken lollipop plate. The person at the counter took our order and confirmed that the 20% discount was still available. To our surprise, when we paid (see attached screenshot), we noticed that the discount wasn’t applied to the chicken lollipop. When we asked, the person at the counter initially said the system applies discounts automatically, but then mentioned that the chicken lollipop wasn’t eligible for the discount. Although there was nothing in the menu indicating which items were included in the discount and which were not. We paid as per the bilI (attached screenshot). I believe it would have been honest and appropriate for him to mention this when we specifically asked about the discount. This felt like dishonest behavior and poor...
Read moreGreat location, nice staff and decent Indian cuisine. The portion of lunch menu is extremely big so unless you eat for two people, I recommend you to go without a soup. Despite all the positive aspects I just mentioned, I still see the restaurant like... ok. Not the best one I have ever experienced. The reason is average taste and the fact that I didn't like the chicken soup that was too not broth, neither it was creamy soup. It was some kind of slimy water. It was thickish by something that might have be right there, but I didn't like it. The restaurant is located in the underground, an access is only through stairs so don't consider the restaurant if you have osteoarthritis. It's possible to pay with a card. Edit: Downgrading the rating because of food poisoning. At the end of the day, I threw up the soup and some oily remaining of my lunch. I wouldn't expect that from any restaurant, even the...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in well, one of the most hectic places in Brno, homeless people, trams, main train station, surrounded by weird fast food chains and an empty telephone booth that no longer serves for making calls. All in all, the place where the restaurant is located is not the best in town, but once you descend the stairs, you are transported into a place that is the exact opposite of its location, very nicely decorated, clean, with beautiful Buddha statue dominating the place. I'd say it is the best interior of all Indian/Nepali places I've been in Brno. The food, served by what I'd assume is a some sort of fitness instructor, is just perfect, perfect temperature, spiciness and amount. For anyone coming to Brno, this place is a MUST to visit. Kudos, will definitely...
