This beautifully designed cellar that is completely set in dark features a big cross above the main bar (with a few touches by TIMO, our local Banksy). It might not seem like it at first sight but this place has the chillest vibe and absolutely beautiful and relaxing atmosphere supported by great music playing from a record player.
All that is highlighted by the absolutely knowledgeable owner, Jiří, who must have wine running through his veins as he invites you to come to him rather than ordering from a menu (there is no menu) and lets you taste some amazing local wines before you pick the one that suits your tastebuds the best. We are not the biggest wine connoisseurs and honestly do not know anything about wine but because of his expertise we got to taste some absolutely delicious orange wines (which we haven’t heard of before) and spend the rest of the evening in a very relaxed and safe atmosphere.
Also worth noting is that we really appreciated the fact that the owner immediately switched to English for us (since my bf doesn’t speak Czech) and led the entire conversation about wine in English.
