P.S. Teď pracuji jako kuchař a mám smysl pro chuť./ I don't recommend it! Nowhere in the Czech Republic are there such awful prices: 450 CZK for soup. Okay. But it's not edible! The kharcho wasn't kharcho, but scraps of beef tendons roughly from the nut part (I assume the rest was used for goulash and burgers), overcooked groats, zero spices, and a barely warm dish, if you can even call it that. After returning the order, I asked to have my meal replaced. That is, to bring something edible for the same price. We agreed, phew, they brought me pork shashlik... The sauce was tasty (ketchup and cilantro), and the onions were fresh, the meat was soft - clearly, after marinating in brine for several days))) thin Armenian lavash, store-bought. The climax was at payment: oh, the terminal isn't working, oh, you don't have cash, oh, now I'll turn on the second terminal, it should work.... Here's the amount. Oh, and he included the soup on the check, which they quickly showed me. In general: I paid for the shashlik and diluted chacha. Well, at least a hungry person could eat and drink that. I refused to pay for the undereaten soup. The waiter was sad, and cries of indignation were heard from the kitchen. In the middle of all this, they brought me a shot of chacha, and finally said that they had never had problems with reviews for kharcho. P.S. I am currently working as a chef and have a...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and overall, the food was quite good. However, there were a couple of disappointing aspects that affected the overall experience.
Firstly, I ordered a traditional Georgian alcohol drink called “cha cha” from the menu, but what I was served was clearly just regular vodka. As someone familiar with the distinct taste of cha cha, this felt misleading and disappointing.
Secondly, at the end of the meal, 300 CZK was added to our bill as a service charge — without any prior notice or discussion. While I understand service charges are common in some places, it’s reasonable to expect transparency about such charges before they appear on the bill.
In short, food was okey, but the misrepresentation of drinks and lack of transparency with billing left a bad impression. With a bit more honesty and communication, this place could offer a much better...
Read moredo you want to pay 30€ for 4 Hinkalis 2 mediocre coffees and outright rude stuff - this is the place to visit : no greeting, seated us at the dirty table that they preceded to clean by taking the napkins and just dusting them in the air to let all the crumbs around the floor, did not offer us the normal table near the window “cos its for 4 ppl” or whatever, since right after us an older couple walked in and was seated there, had to wait good 25+ minutes for a portion and then about as much time to pay - should have gotten up and left right there. Djezva koffe - is just an americano made in Turka, which is nothing like the real thing, and even though the hinkalis were big - taste was not the best. This is not the place where everything is bad but the food is fire - it’s...
