I had the lentil soup and salad with duck and goat cheese mousse. Lentil soup had a great taste, but there were pieces of sand on the bottom of the bowl probably from lentils, it can happen. The salad was not worthy the price, the ratio of cheese in mousse was minimal, the duck breast has lost its freshness. Maby because we were waiting for more than an hour for food, but we had fun, so no big deal and also, it was the most busy time of the year. The rest of our crew was happy with food and we have spent pleasant evening.

Wir waren in unserer Woche Winterferien jetzt fast jeden Nachmittag im Elan, weil da alles passt. Man kann mit Skischuhen ins Restaurant und auch zwei Kleinkinder haben dort Spaß und gehen keinem auf die Nerven. Vielleicht kochen die Nachbarn besser, aber im Elan fühlten wir uns wohl. Nachmittags ist das Restaurant fast leer. Deshalb gilt bis 17.00 die Mittagskarte, auf der fast alle Hauptgerichte weniger als 10 Euro kosten. Gekocht wird klassisch Mitteleuropäisch, Fleisch von Schwein Rind und Wild, mit Klößen oder Kartoffelbrei. Am Freitag kam dazu noch ein riesiges Tomahawk Steak, dafür wollten die dann 40 Euro für zwei Personen. Auch der Salatteller ist reichhaltig und macht satt. Alles schmeckt, als sei es selbst gekocht. Man merkt, dass in Tschechien die Löhne für ehrliches Handwerk noch bezahlbar sind und die Menschen scheinbar auch lieber anpacken und den Backofen benutzen, als irgendwelches Fertiggeschiß aus der Tüte aufzuwärmen. Das merkt man zum Beispiel beim Rotkraut, das ordentlich mit Schmalz angereichert schmeckt, wie sonst nur an Weihnachten, wenn sich ausnahmsweise alle gut vertragen. Falls die Kinder dann doch nerven, gibt es auch guten Stoff, vom Slibovic über Single Malt bis Hennessy alles am Start. Dazu noch nettes, zurückhaltendes Personal, Sonderwünsche und extra Beilagen werden unkompliziert erfüllt....

Dali jsme si burger s cibulovou marmeládou .... vlastně ani nevím, kudy do toho. Začnu tedy u pozitiv. *Pro nás a spoustu dalších rodičů je podstatné, že tam mají opravdu dobře řešený dětský koutek, odkud vám mládě nikam neuteče. *Obsluha je celkem příjemná *Lístek s poměrně malým výběrem je za mě bonus a příslib čerstvých potravin (doufejme). *Na oko krásný plating. *Salátové listy v burgeru byly ochucené, to se jen tak nevidí a za to klobouk dolů. *Cibulová marmeláda byla skvělá.

Negativ je značně méně, ale bohužel, pro mě tedy stěžejní. *Praktičnost platingu zcela mimo. Jsem odpůrce toho, aby se burger jedl příborem, ale tady jsem neměla jinou možnost a to ubírá na chuti. Byl příliš vysoký a to že já s tím problém nemívám. Tohle se celé všude sypalo ve velkém. Prkýnko nemělo žádné korýtko na zachycení šťáv a celkově k burgeru bylo dost úzké. Navíc když servíruji burger, rozhodně dám do placu více než jeden ubrousek. *Maso bylo namleté nejspíš z nějaké levnější části krávy, protože jsem si z pusy vytáhla doslova 12 chrupek/kůstek.
