Horrible service, the food is mediocre at best. I got my food but didn't get the drink I ordered with it, and when I asked if they forgot about it they said there were a lot of orders and it wasn't ready yet. Apparently it takes longer to make a lemonade than to cook a meal. I was also told that I was wrong to question this situation, got shouted at by the staff. Amazing place to avoid!
Updated after the property's reply (which is now deleted, but was extremely rude, further blaming me for asking about the order, and also falsely accusing of inappropriate behaviour):
Excuse me, MY BEHAVIOUR???!!! Care to mention what exactly was wrong with it? Asking for my drink is wrong behaviour? And being shouted at in response is normal cause if the customer asks about the order he is wrong? Jesus Christ....
You also forgot to mention that my WHOLE TABLE got their drinks, but not me. It was a simple lemonade. Next time try to prepare orders table by table, it is easier and doesn't make you look...
Read moreThis is a cozy cafe/bar/restaurant right underneath the beautiful Prague park Grébovka. Even without the outdoor seating, this place can serve a lot more people than it would seem. Yet every table feels cozy and private - you could easily host a 70+ people party here as well as sit in a comfy chair and read a book all by yourself. Tastefully decorated, warm and inviting.
The food was amazing, top notch quality and presentation. I had the moussaka and I honestly don't think I've ever had a better one, even in Greece. My vegan friend had stuffed peppers and grilled carrots and it was fantastic too. Really well balanced. Finished with a homemade lemonade that was refreshing and not too sweet.
I am now recommending this place to everyone I know, as a perfect spot for a business meeting, coffee with friends, or really good lunch or dinner! It's comfortable within reach from anywhere in Prague, and yet has all the atmosphere of a quiet corner away from the rush...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. Everything was bad. The food was completely mediocre: the meat was dry, the panna cotta was unbearably sweet. The service was just as terrible. First, I waited more than 30 minutes for someone to take my order, and in the end, I had to go ask the staff myself. Then, the food took forever to arrive, and they even brought the drinks after we had already finished eating. Even something as simple as a glass of water took about half an hour. And when it finally arrived, there was sand in it! When they brought my food, they didn’t bring any utensils. I asked for them, but they never came, so I had to use my husband’s. This place used to be nice, offering good Slavic cuisine, but it seems like the ownership has changed. Unfortunately, it’s no longer...
