Came here today on an impulse, and was the worst place we have been in Prague so far!

The waiter didn’t know the answer to a simple question of what sauce comes with the beef, which you would think they would know the answer as there is about 8 things on the menu, his reply was along the lines: ‘I don’t know I’ve forgotten’…. Okay go and check then?

I can’t comment on the drinks as I just had a Fanta, but I ended up ordering a simple burger. McDonald’s burger is nicer.

It came with a burnt bun, completely overcooked meat, dry as rubber and also very plain with little, or most likely no seasoning, basic burger sauce, but too much and made eating the burger a challenge as it kept falling out of the bun. At least the salad seemed fresh. The chips are again basic frozen chips, which I was expecting but they were still so plain, even when compared to other frozen chips.

Then it came to paying. Very expensive for the quality of the food, again tourist trap prices. Wanted to pay with card, they charge more for using card, which is crazy and maybe illegal? We quickly refused this. Anyway he was insistent on asking for a tip, why would I tip anyone here? But very pushy as if not tipping wasn’t an option. Then he walks off as I get cash out and didn’t come back, I walked inside to pay and two girls working were more interested in continuing their conversation, after 30 seconds of waiting one abruptly asked ‘what you want?’ Oh I’m sorry am I, (the customer) disturbing your conversation? When I said I want to pay she said ‘wait for colleague’ then went back to talking. At that point I had enough, left the money and went. Should have just walked off to be honest.

my mum did eat her salad, if I could add 1/2 a star for that I would but I can’t so 1 star it is

If you ever come into contact with this place don’t go it’s a pure tourist trap with the worlds worst waiting staff, and the worst food I’ve had so far. go literally...

Called for food in the afternoon and sat outside. I ordered the tuna salad, which I enjoyed, but it's hard to get a salad wrong. Unfortunately there are many aspects that let this place down massively. Firstly, the waiter was very scruffy - wearing a very crumpled shirt, which isn't a good first impression. I asked him about a couple of items on the menu but he couldn't tell me about any of the ingredients - not good, he needs to be taught about ingredients as this is a main responsibility of the waiter to know all that is on offer. When I asked to pay with a card, he said he would need to add on an extra charge to use my card 'from your bank to our bank'. I asked 'Why!? I've never been told this anywhere in Prague' He just said 'Don't know!'. I explained that my bank does not charge me for card transactions and neither should this restaurant. I refused to pay it and commented that it is probably illegal, considering the total of the whole bill for my group and the fact that the food is over priced anyway!!! 'Don't know' & a shrug was his answer. I paid in cash. No tip. None deserved. There is a lot of work needed here. I think it's location means they don't rely on repeat trade (which is probably a good job!), but sadly, they don't care about their service or quality of food. The fries were cheap, frozen, horrible, bland tasting. The meat served was dry. I would avoid. Having read a lot of the reviews, it seems a lot of customers are not happy with food and...

The waitress attempted to persuade me to make additional purchases, and upon being declined, her demeanor changed.

Regarding the meal: I requested a grilled sausage, but the actual dish differed from its picture on the menu. Instead of one large sausage as shown, I was served five smaller ones.

On tipping. This establishment is unique in that it’s the only one I’ve encountered where the server explicitly requested a tip.

Concerning payment: There’s an additional charge of 8.25% for card payments.

Given that your establishment depends on tourist patronage, and considering it’s the year 2024, it’s surprising that you even charge a process fee for card payment.

Regardless, people be aware of aboves and there are better places there. I've just figured that the only reason I went to this place is because I got this place mixed up with the pub next door. I would have not dined here if I knew their google rating is...
