La Focacceria — Restaurant in Prague

Arancina tastes great, and some of their sweets stuff (Canola i think) is also really nice. I had been coming semi-regularly and usually there is a nice Italian man at the counter, who takes his time to explain the different Toppings, fillings and products. Unfortunately i had a very bad experience today with a lady working behind the counter. I had asked her what fillings where in the Arancina, and she very quickly went through 4 or 5 different variants with all different ingredients. I couldn't really make out what she was saying, and probably didn't even know some of the ingredients. I asked her to repeat and once again she was very hard to understand for me She didnt change her approach, slow down or anything to help me understand.. I asked her again, specifically pointing at one of the Arancina, to repeat but at this point she almost shouted at me the ingredients and looked at me with such furry, as if i had just stood on her baby. At this point I said sorry and left. As i was leaving she exclaimed "4 times i repeat myself". Well, i'm sorry for causing you such trouble. I...

NON COMMESTIBILI! Rarely in my life I threw away food, but the sweets from Focacceria ended up in the trash bin after ruining a nice dinner. The biscuits were dry, and full of spices like clove to the point of being uneatable; the cannoli had very old and dried out ricotta, acid to the smell and taste; and the babà, which I hoped we could save, were having a juice tasting of bitter lemon so much that it was tasting like dish soap. Went there with high expectations from other people and decided to try the sweets. When I walked in I notice that there were bees and some flies on the sweets. I overlooked that as the owner seemed a nice person and decided to still give a try. I purchased each of a different sweet,all of them were over sweetened and didn’t taste as they should.the cleanliness in the store is below average and should be checked. Defently I won’t go back not even to try...
