We went for a degustation and opted for the extra wine pairing. The food was outstanding—ingenious, amazing, truly some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The wine was also excellent and paired beautifully with the dishes.

However, despite the incredible food, several major service mishaps significantly impacted the experience, which, given the high price, was disappointing.

First, when serving the wine for the second course, the sommelier remarked something like, "The lady needs to drink up." While not outright rude, it felt unprofessional, as it forced my partner to finish her wine quickly.

Second, the sommelier seemed to forget about us and only brought the wine for the first main course (the third course overall) when we were already halfway through it. We initially waited before eating, expecting the wine, but eventually started without it. When he finally brought it, he simply said, "Sorry," without further explanation.

Third, there was supposed to be a pause between the two main courses. Our server had informed us that once we finished our wine, they would notify the kitchen to start preparing the next dish. However, the sommelier brought the wine too early—before we had even finished the previous pairing. Then, they attempted to serve the dish while we were still drinking, so we sent it back. Unfortunately, they brought it again shortly after, so I had to finish my wine quickly. I’m not sure if the dish was freshly prepared or just the same as before, as it wasn’t particularly hot. To add to the confusion, the server who brought it said there will be a longer pause before the second main course and seemed surprised when we mentioned it was our second main course already. He apologized, explaining that the kitchen had sent it too soon and promised a longer pause before dessert. While the break was longer, they still brought dessert before we had finished the wine from the previous course.

Instead of fully relaxing and enjoying the evening, we kept discussing these missteps. Despite the incredible food and generally pleasant staff, the service issues overshadowed the experience.

Lastly, there was no mention that the water served with the degustation was not included in the already high price, and it turned out to be quite expensive.

TL;DR: The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the staff was friendly, but the evening was disrupted by multiple service blunders, which was...

We bought a voucher online as a gift, I'm glad that we didn't give this gift out. Right after we came we were greeted and seated next to the window in the corner (definitely needed some cleaning and polishing). We got the option to choose welcome drinks so we chose water, champagne and wine (wait for the end of the review).

Experience: Then we saw two waiters having an argument, that's very unprofessional. The music in the background was definitely not the one that you would expect in such a restaurant, pop music really? The toilets and bathrooms looked like they were from a better gas station. The food was not explained by waiters at all, just plainly served and they all seemed to be supercilious.

Food: The menu that we got served was outdated - pumpkin, chestnuts, duck during spring? The tasting menu should reflect the seasons and local area, none of that happened. As we experienced in far better restaurants around the world. The restaurant claims to have rewards. Flavour was basic, very predictable. Combinations were common, not extraordinary and blend. But it was nicely served at least. Risotto seemed to be sitting somewhere for some while and was a bit colder. We left the plate with crossed utensils - none of the waiters saw that, please explain to your waiters what it means.

We also tasted a carpaccio from menu as well as crème brulé, they both tasted good, carpaccio had bit too much salad to my taste.

As we were about to leave and pay we learned that water cost us 200 czk euros, and wine with champagne was extra, but offered as welcome drink. Which we didn't know and considered that as a part of the voucher, most likely our fault not checking that.

Overall, I don't recommend visiting this restaurant nor buying any voucher, it's simply not worth your time. You can find way better restaurants with better...

We went to Oblaca for a dinner ( 5 adults and 3 kids). The place is definitely amazing at night! The view, design and look - just amazing!

Food was definitely great - although 2 of the entrées come out cold (risotto and Veal chop). As the taste was great we ate them all; and just informed one of the staff on the end of dinning. A big suggestion is to serve the meals on a warm plates as all of them felt cold.

Service that was the biggest issue (and our small tip reflect that). In a beginning We got a gentleman that was fully energetic and funny! But during the evening he slowly disappeared; and after waiting for entrees, dessert menu, desserts and mainly any kind of drinks was just unacceptable! At some point - we even thought to just to get up - go pay and leave. Also after getting our entrées, we were basically getting different servers during the rest of the night. At this point we just felt like unwanted guests.

Another issue / and recommendation for parents with small kids!! Don’t come in here if you know that you’ll need to use changing table for your kids! Their kids bathroom is out of order for past couple of months (per servers excuse)! + the difficulty of getting to the building with a stroller - it’s not fully barrier free as they claim! + bathrooms are level up too!

Overall If you come here, please make sure that you’ll pick (non busy time) when you’ll actually get their full attention! As a full paying customer - I didn’t appreciate of being behind other customers; who actually come there - with some discounted vouchers! (as that’s the reason of a slow service per other severs explanation)!

Food was great! Service really suck! Restaurant Atmosphere was good - but the view on Prague was amazing! Overall - us leaving there little over 10 000CZK per dinner check; we’re not planning to...

If you want a bad service, small food portions which are too salty and everything for a lot of money, that is the right place! On the other side, the staff is a bit rude and straight. When we came to this place the waiter gave us the the warmest table on a sun side. When we asked whether we can go to another table which is in shade, she told us that the tables are reserved. At the same moment, the restaurant hall was completely empty and we were the first visitors. So, actually see no problem to change it. Then, we asked whether she can help us to close the window with a sun screen, because it was almost impossible to sit there. She told us to do this ourselves. Another side, we were celebrating birthday there, it was mentioned in the reservation, and they didn't even suggest any surprise like a candle in the cake or a drink for free. I had experience with other much cheaper places where during birthday celebration they gave us champagne for all for free, or cake. Here, we had to ask to give at least a candle. So, they suggested to buy a cake in this case. Another story is food, the portion doesn't worth even half of these price. I ordered sea cocktail which was really tiny. Maybe for kids it will be enough, but for adults definitely not. In addition, it was too salty. The last, you should pay attention what they include to the bill, the next day when we checked it, we realised that they included extra order that we didn't have on the table. On the contrary, the building is impressive, the view is nice and cocktails are good. Those are the reasons to visit this place.

We went here without planning and got up straight to restaurant on 3rd floor so we didn't need to pay to go up in the tower it self. At first we thought we was gona have a cake and a drink as we were not so hungry, so we told someone that we only there for cake and coffee, he sat us somewhere far from view ( we could still see but it was a but uncomfortable to see past the people to see the view they thought we were looking at them) Once we sat, we looked at the menu and we actually picked up some lunch which was wonderful, not a huge menu choice but great for us, then I walked in the other side of restaurant behind us to take some pictures of the beautiful city views, to notice all by the window tables were free, yet we were sat next to some other people without view. I found that not very nice thing to do. Our waiter was very nice, the person who sat us in that table was not. However the food beat the view and the service. I would go again, and I'll make sure I make my point across, at the end of the day restaurants are plenty it was the view that I went up in Tower for and this guy should appreciate coffee and cake people same as people who go for a meal. When we left round 3pm there was actually not a single person in there, which was a shame to see such a beautiful place empty. I recommend this place for the food, good service and great views. Remember you don't need a ticket to go to Tower if you are only going in the restaurant. From the restaurant it is a great view without paying more money. 😉
