I have not been here in 4 years so my review might be a bit out of date, but I wanted to comment on it as every time I go to Prague I go here to eat. As a UK traveller I have found this pizza place to be an especially good value restaurant with good mains and excellent pizzas. The pizzas are definitely the star of the show.
I recall a meal a few years ago where five of us had a pizza, everyone had a drink or two and when the bill came and I converted Czech Korunas to Pound Sterling came out to about £30 (Currently £1 is 28.64 Korunas, or "Crowns"). It was a serious bargain, but more importantly the pizzas were well cooked, not too doughy and very much in the Neapolitan style, just with more cheese. It was a brilliant restaurant and I do hope you will give it a shot while you are in Prague, whether you are a visitor...
Read moreVisited on 19/9/19 in the evenining after wonderful play Zaskok of ZDJC. Three lazy guys in almost empty restaurant, but drink we finally got after almost 20 minutes. What worse, it was the last one, because once we got dinner they returned to their chat, and only to that. What worse, because I got dinner without knife&fork, I tried to ask them for this necessary equipment but they obviously felt very offended that I wanted somethig extra from them.
As for overall: horrible (untasty) pizza - 2/10 quite a proper Gnochi - 5/10 good wine - 7/10 perfect beer - 8/10 Incredible Staff - 0/10
Summary: My first visit of Einstein pizzeria after several years and, unfortunately, the last one. I don't recommend this restaurant. Maybe another EINSTEIN ones in Prague are better, but have serious...
Dali jsme si 3 burgery a byly to ty nejhorsi burgery co jsme kdy meli a pritom nebyly vubec levne.
I would expect that all Einstein restaurants in Prague are equally good, but this is not the case. Einstein in Zizkov is absolutely terrible starting with food and ending with the atmosphere of the restaurant. We were there on Tuesday night, and the waiter unfriendly told us that they are closing an hour earlier than it it written everywhere (at 22 instead of 23). We ordered 3 burgers and they were the worst burgers we ever had and they were not cheap at all. The meat in them was dry and hard, it was almost impossible to cut with a knife and the taste was quite below average. The rest of the burger was also so so. The staff was quite hostile, waiter did not ask about ISIC and after accepting the order he refused to accept ISIC (it is our fault, but he could friendly ask ISIC when he saw that we are students, as it is in other Einstein restaurants). The atmosphere of the restaurant was not pleasant and especially that there was almost no one but us. The staff knows very well that the food is disgusting, when cleaning, waiter did not ask if everything was fine because it was clear that it is not. We will never return to this restaurant again. Einstein on Letna is a much better place...
