Shockingly bad. Horrifying- really! Filthy, highly questionable pasta (doused with cocktail sauce or ketchup) - by far the worst dining experience I’ve had in Prague.
My team and I scheduled a celebratory lunch earlier this week. I had always wanted to go here, as it’s packed (outside) during the summer - but the eyebrow-raising issues started very quickly after sitting down (heavily stained tablecloths, dirty plates/cutlery) - even so, we were completely unprepared for how epically bad the food was. We thought perhaps that we had booked an escape room (with so much stuff nailed to the wall) - and we started laughing as the experience got worse and worse throughout the meal.
Apparently the pork was ok, as that team member said his food “was at least edible” - but most of us gave up (those who had “the fish bowl”, the tagliatelle, salmon or the Balkan salad).
I’d be furious if I had spent my own money and it was this bad - but instead it’s an object lesson on tourist traps in Prague… the food looks great in pictures, it it might as well be plastic (at least then it would smell better).
I highly recommend that you don’t eat here - maybe just enjoy it for drinks, if you dare…. (But if you need a team building experience where everyone suffers together & you gain shared jokes about “tagliatelle” or “is this an escape room” - by all means, go for it!)
[UPDATE - I recommend that you read the business’ response - apparently two brothers co-own the restaurant and run it very differently (essentially, there are two different restaurants sharing this building). We did speak with the ‘bad brother’ & his inebriated, toothless cook who were indignant when we told them how bad it was - they replied “how could the food be bad? we bought it from Makro!”
I don’t think that I’ll be going back, but at least it explains why there are so many good reviews for a restaurant that was so incredibly awful when we...

Alors je lui ai demandé : « Where should I sit ? Il m'a dit : « i don't understand. Quel dommage ! Quelle honte !
I have the most disgusting experience here during my stay in Prague. When I walked in, I asked the waiter if there was table for one person. He didn't answer my question but asked "China?", I subconsciously stated, then he said something in Czech to the local customers next to me. I didn't understand. But everyone laughed. I didn't know what he said, then he showed me the inside of the restaurant. So I walked in and found there was only one table available for six people, so I sat down. I waited a few minutes for this gentleman to come. When he saw me sitting at a table for six people, he started making fun of me with the local customers saying: "She is one person but sitting at a table for six people! " At that point, I was already very angry. So I asked him, “Where should I sit?” But he left without looking back and left me there. I realized I might have been discriminated against, from the moment he asked me if I was Chinese. So I got up and went to him and said in French, “If you don’t have a place, you should tell me.” But he didn't want to pay attention to me. He told me: “I don’t understand." Obviously, he didn't want to serve me, so he asked his colleague to find a...
Read moreAtmosphere 5/5. A very nice and quiet place, located just by the water. Most probably you will get places, that have a view on the river, a lot of swans and ducks swimming there, the buildings on the other side of the river are great. So, this is what you can call a "view-restaurant".
Food 5/5. We really liked everything we got here. We ordered roast beef with black pepper sauce, french fries, grilled salmon with veggies, pork medallions, potato salad and a garlic soup with cheese and bread pieces. Everything tasted great, we ate everything we possibly could. Portions are quite large, so you won't stay hungry after one dish. Cuisine is mixed, so you can order pasta, steaks, some Czech guliash, a good variety of salads and stuff.
Price 5/5. Normally you would expect from a restaurant with this location and food portions to be expensive, but prices were so reasonable, it was surprising. They are the same as in any other city restaurant out there. So this is definitely a recommendation for me — come here and...
