Very disappointing. We found this place, it was close to our hotel and thought it seemed a nice, unique experience. There was only one other table in use when we arrived, so very quiet. The place was a little dark but we expected this with it being below ground level. It wasn't smelly when we went, as others had suggested, and all appeared clean and tidy. We ordered drinks which came quickly and were nice. We also ordered food -fish and chips, and chicken wings and chips. Food came out quickly and seemed hot. I tried my fish. It had a very odd slightly sweet but very fishy flavour. It didn't necessarily taste off, just something odd about it and wasn't particularly appealing. Hubby bit into his first chicken wing to find although it felt warm, it had blood running in the middle of it. It wasn't just slightly pink meat next to the bone, there was blood. We then split all the chicken wings open to see if it was a one off, and found they all had blood running through them. We called over the waitress and showed her. She initially looked and said 'ok'. I know there were probably some translation issues. Hubby said it wasn't ok, there was blood in the chicken. She then asked if she should take it back and do it again? Hubby yes yes and that he couldn't eat these. She took the plate back, and between us we continued to eat my not great, fish and chips. She came over a further 2 or 3 times over the next 20 minutes to see if we had finished our drinks and then came back and took my plate away. After 20 minutes of still not receiving the replacement wings, we asked for the bill and decided to just leave. By this point we'd lost all faith, and decided we would get something else where. It's a real shame as if it had been dealt with properly, this could have been a very different review, but we ended up coming away feeling very disappointed and let down. I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone go here for food...

During our Prague trip, we hopped on the first tram out of the city center and ended up at The PUB Praha 6 for lunch. The service was warm and welcoming, and the lunch menu offered a solid variety - from a giant sandwich to steak or a wrap, with the option to add fries. All three choices were tasty and absolutely worth the price! The fries stood out in particular, tasting homemade rather than frozen. And of course, the Czech beer was everything you’d hope for - big, cheap, and delicious.
The atmosphere was casual and inviting, with plenty of tables and TVs showing sports, making it a great spot to relax. If anything was missing, it was a starter or dessert option (like a soup or something sweet) to round out the lunch deal.
Overall, The PUB Praha 6 delivers on both food and vibe - highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy a local, laid-back dining experience outside the main...
Read moreMade a reservation for 2, I asked for table where we can tap our own beer. It was no problem more then a week before. Went there they said unfortunately it's not possible to sit there, the behaviour was strange and whole situation also. Burger order...went for the double burger my friend choosed a regular one. It came out in the same size. I kindly asked what is the name of the burger, the gentleman who was working in 01/06 evening said it's a double burger, since I showed him it's containing only one piece of meat, but he seemed not interested. After a bit he came back with the correct one, but still like nothing happened. After all of this, asking for tip was also a bit extreme. Not...
