Check the bill before you pay! When we asked for the bill the waitress just told us the common price. I paid imidiatly with my card and got only a payment confirmation from bank terminal where it says that I payed 775kc by my card. In few seconds my bfriend told me to check the bill, but the waitress didn't give me one, I just had the payment confirmation. We went to the waitress and asked for the bill. He clicked the names of the dishes we ordered on his device. Then he clicked +2 bears and all together it was 576 kc. And then he asked: "did you order something else, how many beers did you have?". Next 30 seconds we were making him sure that we ordered only 2 beers, not 6. Then he checked my payment confirmation with 775kc in it and gave me 200 kc in cash back. I don't know if it was made by mistake or in purpose, but any way, it's not pleasant to pay for 6 beers when you had only 2. Also he was not friendly from the beginning. I used to like this place. The stuff is very friendly ussually. But not this time. When I was doing my order I ordered beef at first. Then I excused myself and asked to change the beef into the duck and as answer from him I got rolled eyes and this...

Absolutely nice restaurant and very good food! You can have some really tasty traditional Czech food but also just a good Burger if you want for absolutely nice prices situated a bit at the outer center of Prague. The staff is very friendly and speaks very good English and even native Ukrainian. This restaurant is our address for Prague trips. We have returned the 2nd time in 2 years. The only critic we would like to share on this way is that for Germans especially Bavarians the beer is served a bit with too much foam so that it's a little too less beer served in the end. But that's just complaining on a high level and effects unfortunately a little bit the tips for the staff which I guess isn't responsible for the beer tapping. But anyways definitely a recommendation...

This restaurant was worth a real recommendation. The last time I came here in 2009, I spent many wonderful evenings here. So I have fond memories of the place and was keen to visit it again.

I actually did so again in April 2025 and was so bitterly disappointed.

I had already heard that the owner had changed and the quality was no longer the same as in the past...

And yes, it had nothing to do with the past apart from the inventory.

The food was really nothing special anymore, my meat and fries could have come from the KFC around the corner.

A real shame, it almost ruined my evening. Let's get out of here was my only thought... Pay for it and at least share your experience with posterity.
