Bone's Aalborg — Restaurant in Aalborg Municipality

As a malaysian travelling in denmark, the food is definitely very costly to us. For a salad bar that comes with a portion of fries or baked potato and free flow of soft serve it cost almost a hundred ringgit malaysia.

We came during lunch hour so it is not crowded at all. It is easy for us to access the salad bar… but i could imagine during dinner when it is more crowded, it will be difficult as the bar is quite small.

But the salad bar is very delicious! It has varieties to choose from. Jalapeños, pickled peppers, capsicum, pesto pasta, arrabbiata pasta, nuts, cottage cheese, feta, corn, olives, carrots, broccoli, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, croutons, sundried tomato, couscous, alfalfa, peas, edamame, cranberries, onions, apple, shredded chicken. And more

Besides each vegetable has a scoop, so they are not shared, making it more comfortable for vegans and vegetarians.

They also has sauces to drizzle on your salad.

As for the ice cream machine, one was not working … so we could only try 2 flavours. Hope they could get the machine ready earlier. It also come with some toppings like toffee, hazelnut crunch, chocolate flakes, crushed oreos and drizzle like licorice...

Extremely expensive restaurant with low quality food.

Shared meal had really small portions and was cold upon arrival along with a general lack of taste. Overpriced for the quantity of food received considering it's shared with another person.

Tenderloin steak arrived at the opposite end of the temperature spectrum. It doesn't come with any sauce which you need to add and pay for separately. I ordered the pepper sauce which had a pungent smell and horrible taste. Chips were also over done.

No option of selecting coke as a drink and you need to pay for tap water.

Great. However the salad bar could have been better and fresher. I've been to almost all the Bone's restaurants in Denmark and this one did not live up to the mark. Service was friendly and quick. Location is at the waterfront of Aalborg - it has outdoors sitting and it is overall great. The spare ribs were tasty, but the marinade was way too spicy compared to other visits in the other restaurants from the same chain. The children menu was very greasy.. the mac and cheese pasta my 2 y.o. got was super bad and she literally refused eating it - and pasta is her...
