We had a meal which was quite nice however, towards the end of our meal one of our party collapsed at the table and an ambulance had to be called. I accept that this was no fault of the restaurant. However, I felt that some recognition of the fact that an untoward situation had arisen which had brought our dining experience to a halt and had left our party in some distress would have perhaps been reflected in our final bill - it was not and the full price of approximately 1450 dkr was taken from us. Appart from the waitress contacting the Tivoli Park staff at the point of collapse (who were tremendous) nobody from the restaurant , including the manager, came a ask if they could help and in fact continued to seat other customers uncomfortably close to us whilst the medical staff were in attendance. I found myself dumb-founded by the lack of sympathy or even interest in the welfare of customers who found themselves in this awful situation - be ashamed of yourselves, particularly the manager, who didn't even enquire about the state of our friend as she was 'blue lighted' away from his restaurant.
Needless to say, we will not dine at any of their...
Read moreOverpriced mediocre food. There was no bread served for the table even though it is supposed to be a nicer restaurant and the prices are between 250-350 DKK for a main. When you order the main you have to add a side otherwise the food will be very boring and not filling (sides cost around 55 DKK). We ordered the burger, fish and steak. The burger was very basic and they even charged extra to get ketchup. The fish was quite bland and overcooked and the dish itself lacked ingredients to make it feel complete, was just fish and some carrots in a wine sauce. The steak itself was nicely cooked, but it just doesn't feel generous when you have to add a side and even then it felt like it was lacking something, also the peppersauce tasted more like brownsauce. The cakes we ordered for dessert were on the dryer and blander side.
All in all, you feel cheated after eating here, you pay a premium price but you don't get a premium meal. The service is warm and friendly but also feels a bit rushed due to the large size of the restaurant.
Would not go again, and cannot recommend due to the low value for...
Read moreDuring our family vacation in Copenhagen in June 2016, I took everyone to Price’s Diner in Tivoli for a meal. There were 4 people in our party. We should have known to avoid it, because the Diner was empty at dinner time. The nice Danish waitress took her time getting to us and we ordered from the American food menu.
My Mom ordered chili con carne once she had asked the waitress how spicy it was. The waitress said it was not very spicy. This was inaccurate as it turned out to be inedible because it was too spicy. My mom was sick later that night at her hotel. The white wine she ordered was lukewarm and tasted sweet & cheap. My daughter’s hamburger was over cooked and the bun was so dry it fell apart and could not hold the burger. My boyfriend had a pulled pork sandwich that was the best thing of the 4 meals we ordered, and even that was lackluster. The beer he ordered was also warm and barely had any taste. My chicken that I ordered was over cooked, dry and in part burnt, caramelized and shiny, and not in a good way. I only ate some of it, it was lousy. Such a...
