The LEGO® Store Tivoli Gardens — Local services in Copenhagen Municipality

I was looking for Lego sets only sold in Denmark for a family member, but they do not sell anything like that in this store nor the one in Copenhagen. A staff member said it would only be at the main Lego store, about 4 hours away. The special thing they did offer that is only available in a few U.S. stores is make your own minifigure. It was about $14 USD. It was not super busy, but it still took about 45 minutes - 60 minutes to to wait for your turn to be called to a computer screen, wait to find the 4 component pieces you are allowed to select (head, arms, hat, accessory to hold), and wait for your minifigure to be printed.

You can customize the name that will appear on the block with several words and the shirt. You can even draw your own. The shirts and especially the tie selection available on the computer kiosk was a bit limited. Pant color can be selected as well.

You have to find the face from the pre-printed heads that are available. That took the longest. I had hoped to be able to customize the face, but you could not.

The staff was all very patient and helpful speaking English (of course the guy checking me out actually was from the U.S.) but the guy helping me with the kiosk gave me quick but fluent instructions as well.

The Minifigure factory is on the 2nd floor. This store is next to one of the Tivoli...

Wir haben allen Grund, Danke zu sagen! Am 6 Januar waren wir in Kopenhagen im Lego Store , Tivoli, Vesterbrogade 3. Unser Sohn hatte zuvor vergeblich versucht, die Titanic zu finden. In diesem wundervollen Geschäft mit zwei Etagen sind wir dann fündig geworden! Wir hatten viele Sonderwünsche, zum einen mussten wir die Titanic vor Ort lagern, zum anderen musste sie für uns für die Reise vorbereitet werden. Der junge Mitarbeiter Norbert war absolut die richtige Wahl und wir hätten keinen besseren Verkäufer finden können. Ruhig, seriös und mit Sachkenntnis hat er uns einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt beschert und alle Hürden beseitigt! Selbst in Billund war die Titanic nicht mehr zu haben, Norbert hat das letzte Exemplar für uns reserviert! Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle. Und ihnen, Norbert, alles Gute für die Zukunft, hoffentlich können sie irgendwann ihren eigenen Store leiten!

Vi har alle grund til at sige tak! Den 6. januar var vi i København i Lego-butikken, Tivoli, Vesterbrogade 3. Vores søn havde tidligere forgæves forsøgt at finde Titanic. I denne fantastiske butik med to etager fandt vi det endelig! Vi havde mange specielle ønsker; for det første skulle vi opbevare Titanic på stedet, og for det andet skulle den forberedes til os til rejsen. Den unge medarbejder Norbert var helt det rigtige valg, og vi kunne ikke have fundet en bedre sælger. Rolig, professionel og vidende gav han os et meget behageligt ophold og fjernede alle hindringer! Selv i Billund var Titanic ikke længere tilgængelig, men Norbert reserverede det sidste eksemplar til os! Mange tak på dette tidspunkt. Og til dig, Norbert, alt godt i fremtiden; forhåbentlig kan du en dag lede din egen butik!

We have every reason to say thank you! On January 6th, we were in Copenhagen at the Lego Store, Tivoli, Vesterbrogade 3. Our son had previously tried in vain to find the Titanic. In this fantastic two-story store, we finally found it! We had many special requests; firstly, we needed to store the Titanic on-site, and secondly, it had to be prepared for our journey. The young employee Norbert was absolutely the right choice, and we couldn't have found a better salesperson. Calm, professional, and knowledgeable, he provided us with a very pleasant experience and removed all obstacles! Even in Billund, the Titanic was no longer available, but Norbert reserved the last copy for us! Many thanks at this point. And to you, Norbert, all the best for the future; hopefully, you can one day manage...

Nice store with personalized figures printing. But I had very weird interaction with employee.

We wanted to buy personalized figures, I (f) went to pay for. I told the guy manning the cash register what I want, and paid for it myself. In the meantime my boyfriend came closer. BF(m) and cashier have some exchange about trinkets sold at the cash register. After I paid, Lego guy gives the receipt to my boyfriend, and says "thank you very much, sir. Have a great day sir", completely ignoring me. And I am still right in front of him. We both speak english with the cashier and each other.

So woman places the order, pays for the order, but as soon as man is in the proximity, she is not relevant and is not even entiteled to the receipt for her own purchase that she made using her own bank...
