Food Club — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Recently I had the pleasure of visiting Food Club, a buffet restaurant located in Copenhagen. The buffet at the Food Club is extensive and varied, with a wide range of choices, including traditional Danish dishes, international cuisine and vegetarian and vegan options. The quality and taste of the food is absolutely fantastic, with a focus on fresh and high quality ingredients. The buffet had a large selection of dishes, from salads, soups, hot dishes and desserts. I especially enjoyed the seafood dishes and the traditional Danish smørrebrød.

The atmosphere at the Food Club is also remarkable, with a lively and welcoming interior and a friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant has a modern and elegant design, with comfortable seating and a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant has large windows that offer a nice view of the street and is a great place to enjoy a meal on a warm and sunny day.

The service at the Food Club was also excellent, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. They were also very knowledgeable about the ingredients and cooking methods used in the dishes.

Visited in August 2024. We had the early bird menu on a Friday, 1.5 h on a Friday for 355 kr. The warm food options are not that many, but the dishes are tasty and of good quality. I like the fact that the meat dishes are mainly meat, rather than the more usual sauce with small meat chunks you get in many other places. The salads are also fresh and their variety is good. The drink selection is also good, including sodas, beer, wine, bubbles, coffee and tea. I didn't try the alcohol, but I liked both craft lemonade types available. Jeg havde bestilt bord til fire mennesker lørdag aften kl. 18.45 i anledning af min fødselsdag. Vi kommer hurtigt ind og får et bord, hvorefter vi bliver betjent. Vi bestiller to forretter og fire hovedretter. Forretterne kommer hurtigt ind, og er som de skal være. Der går ca. 70 min. før vi får hovedretterne. Desværre er vi to, som har bestilt fisk, hvilke viser sig at være rå. Vi beklager os over de rå fisk, men to af tjenerne kan ikke svare på, hvad der skal ske, og vi bliver bedt om at vente. Til sidst bliver det fjernet fra vores bord. Vi har efterhånden fået travlt, da vi skal videre et andet sted på Nørrebro, hvor resten af gæsterne venter på os. De andre to har på det tidspunkt fået spist deres hovedret, og skynder sig videre til det andet sted for at tage imod gæsterne. Tilbage sidder vi med en forvirret tjener, som faktisk ikke ved, hvad han skal stille op. Vi har som sagt travlt, men har endnu ikke fået andet at spise end lidt brød. Vi spørger ind til, hvad de hurtigt kan levere til os. Vi får begge en tartelet, som vi absolut ikke bliver mætte af. Vi er derefter nødt til at skynde os og betaler. Vi får begge tarteletter på husets regning. Det vil sige at efter ca. 110 min., så har vi nået at få en tartelet, ikke spise samtidigt med de andre to, få rå fisk og komme for sent til min egen fest. Det er no go. Tjenerne var søde og høflige, men mangler i den grad at blive oplært. De var uvidende om flere ting og var ikke handlekraftige. Hvis man vil drive en restaurant, så må man oplære sit personale ordentligt, ikke tage flere mennesker ind end, der er kapacitet til og have fokus på kvaliteten og...
