Hanzō — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We were two who got one of their “summer offers” which would include 7 dishes. Although it was very overpriced and not much of an actual good offer (cheaper to buy individual dishes). What the menu did not tell you was that the 7 dishes had to be shared and they were definitely not share-size. We both left feeling hungry. Besides this, the service was extremely slow. We waited for a long time and even though our orders were quite simple and the restaurant was not very busy, the waiter still got stuff wrong. This included the water (we ordered sparkling but got still and, yes, we had to pay for this too) and coriander which was not removed. Also we were told that we would get wings, which didn’t happen. On top of that, we only counted 5-6 dishes in the end, so we had to ask for the last.

Overall decent tasting food, but very overpriced if ordering one of their “offers” (don’t do it, it’s a scam, you are much better off getting individual dishes) and...

The food is great, and with a short menu, there’s still cool and interesting options! The coconut ice cream desert was really good, but I don’t think I’ll ever be back.

The service is missing in action. We didn’t wait for a table as we had a reservation but we waited literally an hour for our first plates (edamame, cucumber salad and some chicken thingies), we were still missing plates and those came like 30 min after. We were a table of 3 and we all ate at different times. We tried to be patient as they also had a big birthday table in the salon, and we ordered some more wine + the dessert (1) to close the night, and they brought the dessert and disappeared for the wine. After some time we decided to ask for the check and head out. At any time they said “sorry for the delay” or anything the like -even though we had to ask 3 times for the first plates to arrive- so I think those times might be common.

Food was good, but service absolutely subpar. Upon arrival, we had to approach 3 of the staff members about our reservation before we were shown to our table.

We were three people dining, ordering 2-3 small dishes each. It took an hour before the first dish (edamame beans, nothing fancy) was served. We had to ask for the remainder of the dishes 2 more times, and even after 2.5 hours we hadn’t received everything, we had ordered. At the end of the night, we asked for two drinks, which also never showed up. We ended up asking for the bill and left.

The staff was very inattentive throughout the entire evening and we never got an apology or even an acknowledgement of the long wait or dishes missing. Wouldn’t...
