Kind Of Blue — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Very cozy place with a nice, inviting decor. It's always buzzing and popular but I've usually been able to find a table for two anyhow. They have a great selection of craft beers and they use high quality liquors for drinks, but do not order anything more complex than G&T-level drinks. They are not a cocktail bar and we got sub-par results from trying slightly more involved cocktails. Very unusual for bars, they offer free single cigarettes from a jar. I don't know how people don't exploit the hell out of that, but it's a really nice touch if you just want one or two a night and buying a whole pack is too much. All in all: great bar, great atmosphere, if a little expensive and tenders need...

Kind Of Blue, obviously inspired by Davis' album, welcomes you to a curated experience of local beers, wines, and spirits coupled with a diverse musical play list that reaches well beyond Miles Davis and into the mind of Claus, the owner of the establishment. You don’t have to been keen to his eye for details from design to drinks to have a wonderful time with good music and good friends.

We went here twice- first a weekday (pictured) which was mellow, and again on a lively, bustling Saturday night.
