Hooked — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

The staff is not very friendly. They told us it wouldn’t be a problem to place orders until 9pm because “the kitchen is not very busy late in the evening anyway”. When we wanted to order something at 8.58pm, they said it is not possible anymore because “the kitchen is very busy”. Apparently the staff prefers to go home early instead of serving customers. Either way, one of our friends was left without any food the entire evening.

When I asked the waitress about this and said this was “bad” she stopped talking to me. Didn’t say “bye” or “thank you” anymore and accused me of “insulting” her. I tried to talk to her and find out why she was so mad, but unfortunately it was not possible. I know the kitchen issue is not the waitresses’ fault and in fact I left a tip for her, but I don’t think this is a very professional way of dealing with...

We were really looking forward to some good seafood, but unfortunately, this visit turned out to be a big disappointment.

The restaurant is located in a basement, and the ambience is practically nonexistent. The floor was greasy and dirty, and we even saw mold in the corners. It felt unhygienic and poorly maintained.

The bowl I ordered was hard and completely tasteless – not fresh, not seasoned, just bland. And to make things worse, the portion was very small, yet shockingly expensive. There was absolutely no value for money here.

If someone enjoys eating in a moldy basement and feels comfortable in that environment, then maybe this tiny fast food spot is for them. But personally, I don’t understand how this place gets so many positive reviews.

Bottom line: Dirty, flavorless, overpriced — a very disappointing experience...

First of all, the food is good there, but definitely overrated. We had the Fish&Chips and the lobster roll. The lobster roll was the one we were looking forward the most and which dissapointed us the most. It looks good, but lacked taste and was actually too cold (I know they can be served cold or warm, but this one was really cold). Ok but not worth the money. The Fish&Chips was good and a nice portion.

We went there at around 13:30h as we passed by there and when we went in the waitress looked at us and just asked in a fairly rude way "How can I help you?" It sounded as if we did something wrong. So I asked if they are open and serving food as there were no other costumers and she confirmed. We sat down, she gave us the Menu and basically immediatelly asked what we want to order. It felt like she was too...
