⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional dining experience at Cafe Wilder!
My husband and I had the most wonderful evening at Cafe Wilder and decided to go with their Le Menu - what an incredible choice! From the delightful amuse bouche that started our meal with a perfect little surprise, to the beautifully executed Lapin à la Moutarde à l'Ancienne, every single bite was perfection.
The rabbit ballotine was cooked to absolute perfection - tender and flavorful, paired beautifully with the chanterelles and crisp haricot verts. The pommes chateau were golden and delicious, and that mustard sauce was the perfect complement to tie everything together. You can really taste the care and skill that goes into each dish.
We finished with the classic crème brûlée, which had that perfect caramelized top and silky vanilla custard underneath - simply divine!
But what really made the evening special was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Their attention to detail and genuine warmth made all the difference.
The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want in Copenhagen - cozy, elegant, and inviting. Perfect for a special dinner out.
At 335 DKK for this level of quality and experience, it's absolutely worth every kroner. We'll definitely be back!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional French cuisine with Danish hospitality...

Café Wilder is an absolute gem that left me thoroughly impressed. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that perfectly balances warmth and sophistication. The décor is thoughtfully curated, creating a space that feels both inviting and chic—a true escape from the bustle of daily life.
The food at Café Wilder is nothing short of exceptional. Every dish is beautifully crafted, a testament to the care and creativity of the kitchen team. The flavors are bold yet harmonious, with a menu that offers something special for everyone. Whether you’re there for a casual lunch or a special dinner, you’re bound to be delighted by the culinary artistry.
One small note for families: the café doesn’t offer a dedicated children’s menu, so plan accordingly if you’re visiting with little ones. That said, the quality of the food and the overall experience make it well worth a visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Read moreWe had visited Cafe Wilder for two consecutive nights for drinks only and had enjoyed the ambience when sitting outside and so thought that it would be nice to book for dinner. Whilst we had high hopes and expectations, this was quickly scuppered. Our reservation was at 7.45pm - we promptly ordered drinks, starters and mains at the same time. Unfortunately, by 8.50pm we had still only been served our starter of oysters (which does not take a long time to prepare) as well as 4 slices of bread with butter. All other tables around us had been promptly served starters and mains, even those that had been seated considerably later than us. Owing to the long waiting times and the lack of communication, we left the restaurant before the mains arrived. This was our last night in Copenhagen and it is unfortunate that our last dining experience ended this way. Had we known this would be the case, we would have...
