So disappointed in the service that we left before ordering :(
My husband and I (two people in total) came for a late lunch a couple of weeks ago and asked to be seated outside. We were told that that was no problem and were lead outside and shown to a table with a woman already sitting there. After a moment we realized that it was not one table for four people, but two tables for two people set approximately 5 cm apart from each other, so technically we each had our own table, but it felt like we were sharing one. Before we sat down, we noticed that the four person table across from us was empty, so we asked the waiter if we could be seated there instead. He told us that we could not sit there, as he had to be "efficient" with his seating and had to leave that table open in case a group of three or four people came and wanted to sit there. We noticed that there were several four-person tables outside with only two people sitting at them, several empty tables inside and no other separate groups sitting "together". This left a bad taste in our mouths and made us feel like we were worth less than the other customers so we decided to eat at another restaurant on the rooftop. While we were eating at the other restaurant, we saw another couple get seated at the table we were told was to be kept free for a group of three or four people. We have been here before and enjoyed the food and drinks, but this experience has turned us off from this restaurant so much that I am not sure whether we will...
Read moreThe waiter did his job so no complaints here, though it was busy so he probably couldn't afford to be extra polite to us as seen in some other restaurants when there is less busy. The seating was okay, though a bit lacking in comfort, and the table felt too small and a bit cramped. It was also extremely noisy, with some people even loudly yelling at their tables because they had a birthday or something? As the food itself, we had a flounder on bread with some shrimp and it was quite delicious, though in my opinion little for how much we paid, but I guess that's to be expected. We also got charged 40kr for water which is way too excessive in my opinion.. All in all decent place but I wish they could improve a bit on the problem areas mentioned and it would be a 4...
Read moreThis is a very nice seafood restaurant at the top of a shopping mall, with both indoor and outdoor seating. If the weather permits it, eating out on the rooftop is very nice, with a great view over the downtown Copenhagen shopping area. It gets very busy and sometimes service gets a bit slow. The food, however, is delicious with the fish and chips being very popular for good reason. These are not your mushy fish sticks you get everywhere else. These are solid chunks of fish, battered and fried and served with a large basket of fries. Of course these are Denmark prices so expect to pay at least US $35.- per person for a pretty simple meal. But that's the case everywhere...
