PS Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Me and a friend of mine went for a drink and some snacks and there’s no other way to put this other then that is just an absolute rip off and an actual disgrace. We had two cocktails and ordered the salmon and bell peppers snacks. For 450KR, we were served literally 4 bell peppers and two uncleaned salted salmon wages with a raw carrot combined with a portion of BURNED bread.

I understand the portion size should be as a snack and that is not a full meal, but for sure it shouldn’t be that small. Could not help it but had to at ask one of the waitresses to at least ask the kitchen or manager because I have been there before and gotten a much bigger portion. The look on her face (I think she goes by the name of Cecillia)was very unpleasant, accompanied with some passive aggression and it felt like she was mad at me for even asking (btw in a very polite and peaceful manner). No apologies, didn’t even want to ask or help out. Very direct, we serve burned bread, these are the portion sizes turned around and walked away. When I asked for the bill a different girl brought it and ran away with the machine before it even said accepted and printed out the bill. Absolutely ridiculous, no service, no empathy and really poor! For sure you have lost a customer that brings quite a lot of friends with him which for sure I will not...

Some reviews here feel like following that tendency to write only when an incident occurs. I do believe this is unfair for the place and misinformative for the users. I had indeed a very positive experience in this restaurant. Service, food, wines, quality, setting, style, atmosphere, everything was great. My project manager is a local dane and she had chosen specifically this place to provide the team a great dinner and good time together. It is fair to say that she totally succeeded in this. We all tried different courses and agreed that all meat was masterly cooked and appropriately accompanied with the wines we had suggested. I also loved the appetizers, the side dishes, even the fries were perfect. And the dessert, I tried only the Tiramisu and felt like at home (I’m Italian). While observing the other guests, I realized that this place is ideal for friends dinners and dates as well. We actually indulged some more talking at the table after dinner, enjoying the cozy atmosphere. And while leaving, I found the outside area quite cozy as well. I’ve been guest in several restaurants in the center of Copenhagen, in over 4 years now, and found this one relatively cheap considering the location and the quality delivered. I’m sure I will come back...

Very poor and unwelcoming service. Although cocktails were on the upside of ok, staff was acting kind of weird. When my friend was standing at the bar to pay, all staff flat out ignored her. I would have understood this if it were busy, but it really wasn't. After 5 minutes, my friend went to the other side of the bar to pay, where they did help her. When she returned to the side where our table was, suddenly the bartender came to us and asked us to pay. When we told him we had already paid on the other side, he ignored us and proceeded to charge us. Then we told him twice more we paid on the other side, but he behaved like he didn't believe us. When we left we felt humiliated, as the entire bar was laughing at us since they thought we just left without paying. All very strange, not how staff is supposed to behave (and I'm a bartender myself so I would know). Skip this place if you can, I'm sure there's better places to grab...
