White Lamb Cafe — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Unfortunately, after many good evenings at this bar, a group of us were confronted for smoking indoors. Totally killed the vibe. Ashtrays all over the tables, and no sign indicating a cigar ban. Not to mention that there were only three or four other people in the bar, who had not raised any objections to our cigar smoking.

We proceeded to put out the cigars and I started smoking my pipe, which is far more smokey - and stronger in smell - to which there were no objections. Strange.

One star is awarded for the many cozy evenings I've had there smoking cigars and listening to jazz. The other is an optimistic star, for the many cozy evenings I hope to have there in the evening, with cigars of course.

Unfortunately the current irrational prohibition on cigars limits the rating to two stars, and will make this bar my last choice until the ridiculous regulation is either explicitly stated, or...

A nice and small size bar in very convenient location. Near to nørreport station.

Actually we visited here by seeing the board “Cafe Palermo”, just above the Hvide lam. But don’t expect coffee ☕️ here. But they have only filtered black coffee, which is quite tasty.

We just enjoyed the rainy evening by sitting here. Most of the tables were available when we visited. You can find all types of beers and other alcoholic beverages. Public toilet available inside the bar. Outdoor sitting is available with good heaters which is quite nice in the evenings.

Overall experience was good and recommended to visit if you are planning small coffee meetings. Great place to enjoy...

We loved our visit to the White Lamb Cafe! We are Americans visiting Copenhagen for the first time and looking for a place to hear live jazz. Luckily, we found the White Lamb Cafe and scored a table near the bar. Immediately we felt at home as people were very welcoming even though some people were smoking cigarettes and we do not smoke. We had a fun conversation with one patron at our table, and then a few other Danes dropped in and we invited them to sit with us and we had an hour-long lively conversation. Very enjoyable evening with great music and great company....
