Those who have allergies be aware!! After numerous times telling the staff that my fiancée was allergic to peanuts they were added into her second dish. Within 2 minutes she knew that she has induced them and quickly notified staff to call an ambulance. The reaction from the staff was shocking, a complete lack of empathy for what was happening and lack of responsibility for their slack care preparing the food. I ended up having to rip the phone from the manager to speak with 112 myself to clearly state what was happening and the severity of the situation. The most shocking part is that while my fiancé is crouched over in pain struggling to breath waiting for the ambulance to arrive the manager hands me the entire bill for 1080 crowns, after only eating 2 dishes and demands that we pay, knowing all well what they have done. Following the orders of the ambulance I take her outside to get fresh air and try and keep her calm, the manager then follows us out, with no interest in her wellbeing or the fact that she is struggling to breath and insists that we must pay, totally disgusting. The ambulance arrives and immediately begin treating here outside of the restaurant, not once did anyone from the restaurant come out and check to see if she was okay or speak with the paramedics and doctors on the scene, regardless that the event was life threatening. They just stayed inside and continued to serve food as normal, all they were concerned with was getting the entire bill paid. Will never go back, the staff are extremely unhelpful and disorganised, they lack any type of care or interest in taking care of...
Read moreWe had a disappointing experience here. The food was alright, but nothing special. This is already a disappointment when they carry the brand of Kiin Kiin. This night the waiter dropped a full glass of cava on my friend and our table. Of course the staff apologised and they moved us to another table but that was it. We weren't even offered a free cup of coffee or anything. I feel this is what happens when a popular restaurant opens new branches and maybe by trying to make it cheaper only hire young people with little authority and little knowledge about good service. Also Asian food is very popular in Copenhagen, so there is a fair amount of competition and lots of good alternative restaurants to visit. I have tried Kiin Kiins street food takeout as well, and here I was also disappointed. So I would recommend that people either visit the original Kiin Kiin and maybe Ricemarket also by the same people, and then find other places if you want...
Read moreThis restaurant is beautiful. The design and lighting set a great mood for a wonderful dinner out with your special someone or a small group of friends. I went with a group of 4 people. We took the server's suggestion of ordering 4-5 items per person. The absolute best items we ate were the baos (buns). We tried 3 different ones between the four of us and they were all amazing and delicious. Our favourite was the #1. We ordered some of the other dishes and among the favourites were the squid and the beef. My only suggestion would be to better pace out the meal. Sometimes many dishes would come out at once, and other times we would wait quite a while. One diner at our table waited through two deliveries of items without receiving any of his own. My other suggestion would be to offer iced tap water. The only water available was bottled water at a...
