Looking for an unpretentious restaurant with excellent food, white tablecloths and a mature local clientele? You found it! Had the boeuf bourginon. Excellent. Beaf falling appart with carrots and mushrooms, best brown sauce ever and mashed potatoes. Tuborg classic.

My wife had the halibut. Just slightly browned in the oven with delicious cooked celery in some kind of sauce and a side of green beans. Riesling.

Food was really disappointing. We have been before and enjoyed. This time we came for a small bite and ordered smørrebrød. It was not at all fresh. And had no flavour. We got the hønsesalat. At least a day old. The bacon tasted weird. And I got sick right after leaving the restaurant. Really not a nice food experience this time. Not sure what happened. But the restaurant should be aware that the food had something wrong with it. Of course the atmosphere is always nice so would come again but never again...

Very good Mussels Frites, not even 1 of them were closed and the sauce was well balanced in flavour as well as thick enough to cover the mussels. The calamari were a little bit too fried for our taste and a bit oily. We ordered a salmon, spinach and egg smørrebrød and it was very good too. Service was attentive and fast. If you go with small kids bear in mind they only have one child chair so your might not be able to get it...
