Food took 30 min per course to arrive even though they were pre-ordered (and there was only one menu). Food was mediocre for the price, under-spiced and under-salted. The food tried to use seasonal produce, but failed to deliver a tasty experience that made use of the pure quality and taste of the produce. Wine menu and pairing was tasty but the glasses were poured shallowly. Staff used more time speaking to eachother than serving guests. They used an open kitchen but had poor ventilation. Cheeseboard was a bit unimaginative for the price although they were nice cheeses with some autumn jam (off pairing) and bake-off bread.
