Café Skt. Gertrud — Restaurant in Odense Kommune

One of the best restaurants in Odense, hands down. I tried the chicken Caesar and the mussels, plus red and white wines. The salad was fresh and the chicken was juicy and tender. The mussels were definitely the highlight though: plump, delicious, great sauce. They came with a side of amazing French fries, by the way. It’s a bit pricey, but absolutely worth the money. This visit was amazing. We passed it and saw quite a few people there so we entered. Luckily there was place, so we could eat here. I want to give my compliments to the people working there and especially the ladies serving at the tables. The hard work 💪🏻 they did!! Incredible it was very busy but we never had to wait! Not for ordering not for getting our drinks or food! I had the moules (mussels) which were very nice too. So overall very good and A BIG COMPLIMENT...

I’ve been here now about four times. First two I’d recommend the boeuf tartar and the fries. The service is excellent. However, on our last visit my husband’s burger would have to be the worst burger we have ever eaten out. It was so surprisingly bad. It happened to be the lunch menu and it really lacks options. All other times we came were brunch or dinner. I guess I just don’t recommend the lunch hour...
