One of the best places, and within the colonial area, to get in touch with local theatre, comedy, and overall artistry. Pretty much always with painting and/or sculpture expositions available as the ones in the pictures. Some COVID-19 sanitation restrictions are still in place and last time I visited, the bar was not opened. Further, given its great location, just across the street you can find local beer and snacks, and within 100m range you can find full restaurant and the Santo Domingo cathedral. This wonderful place is a Cultural Center created by a famous Dominican writer, to host artistic manifestations of different areas. A place where art flows freely. Each year in his gallery there are more than 30 exhibitions of painting and photography, music, ballet, theater, conferences and other cultural expressions are produced.
