ممشى اهل مصر — Restaurant in Cairo

Nice place but I wish they avoid employing those unprofessional staff.The rules should be clear not to allow everyone to put his/her own rules to attract more people otherwise they will spoil it.We were walking and talking ,taking some photos and suddenly one of the security guards came and said you can not take a picture in front of the restaurant,the funny thing that we were away from the restaurant and even we are not allowed to stand there either.When we asked where it is written,he said (it is the restaurant policy not the place policy)although he’s dressed in a uniform like the staff there not the restaurant. I hope there’s some more control on the employees to allow the visitors to enjoy...

يرجى الانتباه عند دخول أي موقع سياحي، وخاصة عند شراء التذاكر أو استئجار القوارب. فوجئت أن بعض من يبيعون التذاكر عند البوابة أخذوا مني 50 جنيهًا على كل شخص، بينما السعر الحقيقي هو 20 جنيهًا فقط! أما أصحاب القوارب، فالوضع أسوأ، حيث لا توجد رقابة ولا تسعيرة موحدة، ويتم استغلال السياح برفع الأسعار بشكل مبالغ فيه، خصوصًا للأجانب أو من لا يعرف الأسعار المحلية.

هذا التصرف يعتبر نصبًا واستغلالًا واضحًا، ولا توجد لوائح واضحة أو رقابة فاعلة لمنع هذا التلاعب.

✅ نصيحتي: اسأل عن الأسعار مسبقًا، ويفضل أن تتفق على السعر كتابةً أو أمام شاهد. ولا تتردد في الإبلاغ عن أي حالة استغلال، فالتجاهل يشجع على تكرار الأمر.

🔴 Important Warning for Visitors and Tourists:

Be cautious when entering tourist areas, especially when buying tickets or renting boats. I was surprised that some people at the entrance charged me 50 EGP per person, while the official price was only 20 EGP!

As for boat operators, the situation is even worse. There is no clear regulation or pricing, and tourists are being exploited with extremely inflated prices — especially foreigners or those unfamiliar with local rates.

This behavior is a clear form of scamming and overcharging, and it’s happening due to the lack of oversight and transparency.

✅ My advice: Always ask for prices in advance, and try to agree in writing or in front of a witness. Don’t hesitate to report any dishonest behavior — staying silent only allows it...

Nice place but very unprofessional team. They refused me to enter because I have a camera. Everybody has a phone with a camera and can take a lot of photos even without entertaining. Hopefully, they will change their policy to one that...
