Nightmare..a true nightmare experience at #SASS! We made a brunch reservation @1pm to have some girls time and celebrate a friend’s birthday ,when we arrived we were the only in the whole place, while we were waiting for a friend to arrive we ordered 7 rolls of sushi and a salad @3pm..food didn’t come to table till 4:30 though we were the only table!!! We inquired the food many times through that period and every time we were being replied that food will be served in 5 minutes with no progress.. so we started taking pictures to pass the waiting time and apparently that was amusing for the waiters staff who were setting in a corner smoking and browsing their mobiles..anyway food finally arrived with such horrible below average quality, rolls kept falling apart every and each time however to save the day and keep the good spirit giving that we were literally starving we ate the food served..and afterwards decided to sweeten the day with some dessert that was the worst thing I have ever been served my whole entire life..we ordered profiterole and we were served three stoned bread balls filled with chocolate paste ..the dough was extremely hard that if you smashed it to a wall it will return back at you, we complained that it is unacceptable and that we had a very bad experience with the sushi but the dessert is no way to accept so the waiter took it back and promised another SPECIAL one which was slightly better but still such a disappointment. To end such lovely experience we requested the check and here we come again after We requested a POS to pay with credit card and after entering the pin code the waiter took the machine with the card and just left and then came back that the transaction was rejected so we requested the rejection receipt and the answer was that the machine didn’t print anything so we checked with the bank and actually the transaction counted, debited on our account and got an authorization reference.. so the transaction were completed!!!!! We refused to repeat the transaction again and we requested a manager which wasn’t available at the time so we got the receptionist!!!!! The receptionist attitude lack any customer service principles I told him what happened through the whole experience and feedback was as follows: nobody ever complained our food or sushi quality otherwise we would have took it off the menu. SASS is not waiting for your money..do you know how much we earn per day!!!! And he summed the matter by calling the restaurant manager who wasn’t much better but we concluded the matter by leaving them my mobile number and if the bank refused their claim I will be back to repeat the transaction after receiving whatever rejection proof they have or if the transaction wasn’t actually debited to my account, a solution that took approximately another 60 minimum to reach. Two hours later we received a call from the manager that we have to come and repeat the transaction and that we have to settle the invoice or it will be deducted from the staff mentioning that this is a common issue happening everywhere and that we are making a big fuss! I was truly chocked of the attitude and how they deal with the customers. I truly doubt that any owner would be fine with such low standard behavior..so I wanted to give everyone considering SASS a glimpse of what to expect!! And hopefully such review reaches the owners before they go out of business because of their staff. Don’t get fooled by the social media advertising and marketing this...
Read moreJust by calling reservations it’s enough to tell that there is zero customer service or any regard what so ever to customer needs. I called almost a week ahead to reserve for a special occasion. I was very clear to reservations that if my reservation is not confirmed to kindly inform me ahead of time so that I have time to make other arrangements. They didn’t ask where I prefer to be seated or give any info about their cuisine, or what time I prefer to come, or even what my occasion is or if I might need any special arrangements. All they cared to cover was the minimum charge, age restrictions and to send them the Facebook profiles of the guests (invasion of privacy much?). I sent them what they needed anyway. I called again midweek to double check and re-insist on the importance of the occasion and it seemed as there were no problems. I get a message a night before the reservation day saying that “reservation was rejected due to full capacity”. I called back to complain and kindly asked them to sort something out as I was under the impression that my reservation was okay, the guy had no idea what I was talking about but anyway they said they would sort something out and call me back in minutes and then nobody called and their number stopped connecting. I messaged, also they completely ignored me. When I told my sister she tried to contact them to reserve and guess what? There was a reservation! Wow. Ofcourse by now we have zero interest in ever stepping foot in such a place. Not to mention, the people who answer for reservations have zero class, zero social skills and do not make you feel welcome at the least. Just pure horrible. AND the whole “please send us the Facebook links of the people who are coming” stunt is just too cheap. Like, who does that, that’s beyond weird. I called them and stated that its a special occasion. They didnt ask where I prefer to be seated or when I prefer to come in. All what they cared about is the minimum charge and asking for facebook links for all guests! Not to mention the astronomical minimum charge, but also, they claimed that minimum pax for tables is 6 persons. That's an absolute joke, my friend tried this place before and its not true, they asked me to stand up by the bar for this special night if we are only 2 persons! Stratification at its finest, I'm pretty sure that the management/owner of this kind of restaurants doesnt know the meaning of "good management" and "being open minded". Stop categorizing people and invading customers privacy just to ensure they are fit to your expected standards! They are hiring and paying salaries for people to stalk customers!
