Aperitivo — Restaurant in Geziret al Zamalik, Jazirat al Zamalik

A quaint place that is rarely uncomfortably full/crowded. The venue itself is divided into 2 parts, one with high tables and a bar while the other part is where you would be if you're having dinner or are in a large group...also has a bar. The food itself is amazing, the variety of dishes they serve might not be as wide as other places, however they make them really well...the 'new' chef (who's been there for a couple of years now) does a great job and is also friendly enough to pop out of the kitchen to check if everything is ok. The liver paté is exquisite and I don't even like liver that much. Staff is attentive, quick and friendly and the crowd this place attracts is also very comfortable. Prices are relatively great compared to any other place that offers the same standard. Great for midweek visits as well so any day starting 6pm you can go...i personally prefer that over going on weekends but to each his own :) PS If you're going by car then your best parking option is the garage under the bridge right in front of it...close, safe and cheap....a little...

I went there on New year's eve the location is beautifull . 1. When I made the reservation ,i booked a table but when i arrived they said ur reservationis on the bar but after a small discussion they gave me a table . 2. We were told the individual fee for the night will include dinner/Drink, and we were surprised to know after paying that we will be receiving set menu appetizers/soft drink and anything else will be extra charge! But also after a discussion they accept to add beer 3.the appetizers should be served on table automatically but unfortunately we did not got it until we asked about it The music was repetitive ,the DJ is not professional for a party maybe his domain soft music ... The staff is nice ,and polite

I would give them 6 out of 10.

I WILL give them another chance and GO back THERE just for the place and for the staff ,i ll consider what happen bec it s new year eve and the place is...

Welcoming is Bad By all the Meaning of the Word Bad .

Rough Security Guard that have no Manners as Usual that thinks He is the Owner of the Place.

Manager of the Place is worse than the Security Guard.

Services is Not Up to the Reputation and the Name of this Place .

Waiter's are Arrogant.

Faul Air like an Old Warehouse.

Prices are Expensive doesn't Match the Services.
