The food was EXCELLENT : trotter soup, mushroum soup, appetizers baba ganoug, tomatoes and hot chick peas, 2 stuffed pigeons stuffed with large ground wheat aromatic spiceies ( not stuffed with rice), beet root salad, watermelon juice and strawberry juice. Everything was fine until the bill came. They showed us a bill, I read it and have told them this is not our bill. They didn't know i know arabic. Anyway you can translate with application of GOOGLE TRANSLATE WITH CAMERA. They asked us to pay, we paid with credit card but I insisted to get the bill. They apologized but the device doesn't work. I asked them to bring the menu list and we can make the calculation . We did it, the waiter had a cold sweat on his hands and, surprise!!! 300 EGP less, which means 30% more for them. The manager came and apologized, gave us the difference and promised to send us FOR FREE anything we want. Take care with the bill! Almost everywhere here they try to cheat people, foreigners...
Read moreThe restaurant is full of flies, no air-conditioning even though we're in August. As for the food The salads had 3 plates of rotten Tahini, Baba Ghanoush, and green salad had sand pieces in them! We ordered Kebab ( which practically came with lots of fried onions almost looked and tasted like stew! And was really badly seasoned.) The waiter who brought the Molokhya opened the foil with his bare hands and his fingers touched the Molokhya even after asking to change it no one came to take it back. We were so hungry so unfortunately we tried it, It had curry in it! Who on earth puts this huge amount of Curry in Egyptian Molokhya! The Kofta had pieces of crushed meat that actually got stuck between my teeth for the whole day to get out without harming my teeth! Afterwards we had a terrible stomachache and had to take antibiotics for the terrible pain. As for price vs quality: not worth it at all unless you're paying to get terrible food and stomachache! Terrible experience...
Read moreWe got there accidentally but we really didn’t mind. During our one week stay in Hurghada we went there 3 times. Once we got there perfectly on the iftar meal and we were served traditional Ramadan soup without even ordering it 🙂 the appetizers you get there are actually enough to get full but the food you order is so good you just eat without leaving a single piece. I am not a meat eater but the grilled chicken was too amazing to not try it from my boyfriend. The vegetarian options available are delicious as well. The next thing worth mentioning are the prices - how surprised we were after having a huge meal (6 kinds of mixed appetizers, kofta, tajin, pita bread and soft drinks) which we ate half and seeing 250 pounds on the bill. I think the fact you can see a lot of local people says it all. It is just a very good restaurant with great value for the price and friendly service. Even writing this review made me hungry and I can’t wait to come back there anytime in...
