If you’re looking for a restaurant in the heart of Hurghada that offers a fantastic dining experience, Moby Dick is definitely the place to go. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The vibes were amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. They were attentive, polite, and always had a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

One of the things I really loved about Moby Dick is the layout of the restaurant. It has both indoor and outdoor seating, spread across two floors, giving guests the flexibility to choose their preferred dining setting. The ambiance was perfect, and I appreciated how respectful and well-mannered the people around us were, which made the evening even more pleasant.

Now, let’s talk about the food! I ordered the Ribeye Steak, Beef Stroganoff, Fresh From Our Garden Salad, and Assorted Grilled Vegetables. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and exactly medium, just as I requested. It was full of flavor, and each bite melted in my mouth. The beef stroganoff was also well-prepared, creamy, and comforting, with a rich and delicious sauce.

The sauteed vegetables were another highlight of the meal. They were fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked just right—soft yet slightly crunchy, bringing out their natural flavors. The salad was refreshing and light, making for a great side dish. The only small downside was the mushrooms used in the dish, which seemed to be the pre-packaged kind rather than fresh. However, this didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the meal.

For everything we ordered, the total bill came to around 1900 EGP, which I found reasonable for the quality of the food, service, and ambiance. The location of Moby Dick is also a big plus—it’s situated right in the middle of Hurghada, making it easily accessible. It’s also close to the walking area, with plenty of coffee shops nearby, making it a great spot to grab a bite before or after a stroll.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the food, but I must say the presentation was excellent, with every dish looking as good as it tasted.

EGYPT NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND: Hygiene is not luxury. It is IMPORTANT! Egyptian food business needs to understand and CHANGE THE MENTALITY NOW! Me and my family got food poisoning after eating at Moby Dicks. It is really a shame for a country to continue keeping this bad reputation about food poisoning everywhere. But the problem lies with the mentality where hygiene is not taken seriously. Where the business only aims profit but discourage and doesn't enforce simple hygiene habits. IT IS A SHAME! When will you guys understand that food can kill? When will you understand that bad hygiene can kill? Having severe diarrhea, vomit, fever after eating IS NOT NORMAL! It means that something really BAD is going on in your kitchens, with your staff and with you hygiene! Just have a think for God sake! Putting people in risk is not a good thing. It doesn't cost anything to improve and have a minimum basic hygiene in your restaurant. Enforce it! Wash your hands! Wash you kitchen! Wash your utensils. Use gloves... One of the Best in Hurghada! We were a group of 15 family members dining at Moby Dick in Hurghada, and the experience exceeded all expectations.

We tried a wide range of dishes including camel steak, beef steak, ossobuco, spaghetti, and burgers. Every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The camel steak was especially unique and expertly cooked. The steaks were juicy, the ossobuco rich and tender, and even the pasta and burgers were top quality.

The staff were outstanding—professional, friendly, and always attentive. The manager personally welcomed us and ensured everything went smoothly, which made us feel truly valued.
