Yesterday when we arrived at the premises, we were served by a somewhat friendly white tea waiter at first, after ordering several things he did not write down anything so I thought he had a good memory, when he arrived with the dishes he was wrong in several Things that we didn't ask for, but we said it doesn't matter, they looked good anyway, what bothered me was that the waiter told us as a secret that we leave him a tip under the plate and he would pick it up with a napkin, this upset us a bit little since he could have asked for that at the end of eating and not while one is eating calmly, what was too much was when the bill was 610 pounds and he asked us to pay with 700 to keep a second tip, to which we did not We agreed since, we had already given it to him the first time he asked for it under the plate, after paying him just enough, he tells me but we still have to pay for the water, to which I told him that it was in the account and it had been paid for, he insisted with that for him to keep another bit of money, So I told him that I would go to ask inside the premises, he immediately said no if everything is correct, I was wrong. I had an unfortunate experience yesterday.
I was really disgusted and disappointed by their shish tawook order, which was soacked in lemon in a disgusting way, tasted terrible, dry and definitely was NEVER coal grilled , but rather pan grilled with a horrible taste.
The rude manager was in denial with stupid justifications about why the reason the food tasted terrible...instead of trying to rise up to the expectations....the manager was acting very rude, stupidly defensive and extremely unprofessional.
I didn't get a replacement for the terrible food, or a refund.
However, I might give them another chance (still thinking about it) only because of two polite employees (the financial manager was polite and so was one of their Senior staff), unlike the rude ignorant manager.
Bottomline...Al masrien restaurant in Nabq is truly a disgrace to this decent Chain of restaurants...Truly shameful and...
