Chillax Cafe & Restaurant Dahab — Restaurant in South Sinai

We gave this place three chances, trying almost everything on the menu, and unfortunately, it was consistently bad.

The desserts are extremely dry and definitely overpriced for the quality you get — it’s honestly a joke. The drinks were just as disappointing: the coffee, iced coffee, Turkish coffee, Spanish latte, even smoothies and fresh fruit drinks were all mediocre at best. Nothing tasted fresh or worth the price.

Another huge problem is that it’s smoking inside, and the café is air-conditioned. Between the hookahs and cigarette smoke, the air becomes unbearable. If you’re a non-smoker, you’ll 100% feel suffocated and extremely uncomfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend Chillax Café at all — whether for food, drinks, or desserts. There are plenty of other spots in Dahab that are much better in quality...

I went there two times to give this place a chance because it actually looks nice and has a nice view but first time I got coffee and it was the worst coffee I ever had, it was flavorless and tasted like water to me, second time I got banana yogurt drink and it was also very bad and flavorless and not thick like how any yogurt drink should be, the consistency was so light also like water, I thought about giving the place another chance by getting desert and it was the worst desert ever, an oreo cake that tastes like it has been sitting in the fridge for days, so rough and tastes really bad, I wonder how their food is going to taste like since they can’t even make drinks or deserts, I really wished they had better quality so I can go back again since the place itself looks nice and cozy but...

Honestly, after my experience, I can’t help thinking all the 5-star reviews for Chillax Café must be paid.

We went mainly for the air conditioning, but everything else made it not worth it.

We were four people and tried almost the whole menu, including four different desserts — all dry and overpriced. The drinks were equally disappointing, from coffees to smoothies, with nothing tasting fresh or special.

Another big downside is the atmosphere. Smoking is allowed indoors, and although the café is air-conditioned, there’s not enough ventilation to clear the heavy hookah and cigarette smoke, making it unbearable for non-smokers. Plus, the music was always way too loud, adding to the discomfort.

Overall, I definitely don’t recommend...
