Alo Kalamajas — Restaurant in Tallinn

Honestly it is a refreshing change in the Estonian food field. It’s unique, the food tastes good and they are focusing on doing one thing well instead of trying to offer a large variety of different dishes.

There are alot of sushi, burger and pizza places but not enough Estonian food places. So I think they nailed it with their choice of food.

The staff is very friendly and nice and genuinly asked to get feedback and were open to it (and to what they could improve).

Food was great (tried smoked chicken potato), for my personal liking could’ve used more spices and more cheese. :) It also might look as if it is a small portion but the potato is actually very big and filling in real life so we left feeling completely full.

Location is great too and the prices are reasonable. Would recommend trying out for sure.

The red-haired female worker was incredibly rude and passive-aggressive. We came an hour before closing and asked repeatedly if it was alright for us to still be served.
