Siga La Vaca is hands down the most authentically Argentinean restaurant in Estonia. Tucked away around a corner, the entrance gives off a quiet, almost unnoticed impression—but don’t let that fool you. Open the door just a crack, and you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into another world—something straight out of a Star Wars cantina scene, but with tango instead of aliens. It’s vibrant, packed, loud, colourful, and full of life—just like Argentina itself. From the moment you step in, you’re embraced by a warm, Latin American atmosphere that feels more like visiting old friends than going out to eat. After a while, you begin to notice that almost everyone entering or leaving knows the owners, greeting them with hugs, handshakes, and joyful chatter—a level of openness and warmth that’s rare in Estonia. The service is casual, relaxed, and completely unpretentious, yet somehow still efficient and smooth, even when the place is full. You never feel neglected. And then, the food. As you might expect, it’s all about the meat—and it’s excellent. We had a selection of different cuts, and it quickly became clear why this place is so beloved. The quality was top-notch, but what truly set it apart was the open-fire grilling (parrilla), done by an Argentinean chef who clearly knows his craft. We also ordered the potato porridge, admittedly with some hesitation. I mean, who goes out to a restaurant and orders potato porridge? But on the recommendation of the owner, Reigo, we gave it a shot—and I’m so glad we did. It was delicious, comforting, and full of flavour.
The wine selection is decent—nothing extraordinary, but it does the job. And honestly, with that kind of vibe, energy, and soul in the room, it’s easy to overlook the wine list and just...
Read moreI do not reccomend this place. Save your money and go somewhere else. We visited thisplace due to a reccomendation and we actually were excited. Waitress asked if we want the lunch menu or the regular menu and I said we would like to see both and she only gave us the regular menu.... We ordered grilled cheese, salmon, mashed potatoes and the burger. When the "grilled cheese" hit our table we were dissapointed. That was not grilled cheese, instead it was three pieces of bread and some melted down shredded cheese. It got so cold so quick that it all just was a big clump. The salmon came to the table before the burger and it was RAW. I sent it back and the waitress right away started talking about it to the owner. (I speak estonian so I understood really well.) The mashed potatoes cost 6€ and came in a tiny bowl. My partner liked the burger so that was atleast something positive. They don't have small bottles of water and thats a big minus for me as I only drink sparkling water and 0,75l is a bit too much for just myself. Overall spent 60€ there and that was such a waste. Never going back there and not reccomending this place to anyone. We didn't get even a discount for the fact that the salmon hit the table raw. There was no sorry nor her trying to fix the situation. Service speed was slow as we were the only table. Not even once she came to check on us about the food. Everything had to be on our own initative. PS: Be careful with the sauce bottles. The waitress didn't even say sorry that...

Friday Night Dinner, we expected at least a cozy restaurant to relax from all week but that was not the case. Not saying the place was bad just we probably had bad luck that day as the magnificent waiter said and apologize to us, it was to loud crowd noise as they were having some groups, didn´t expect that from Estonians :) they even over noised my worst cafes in Portugal, Spain or Italy :)
The food was good, we ate for the starter a potbello Mushroom filled with blue cheese Gorgonzola, it was ok and the bread that was served before dinner was good enough to eat the sauce which in my opinion was a little to liquid.
For the mains we asked a Brocheta de Lomo con Panceta ( Filet Mignon skewer with bacon and chimichurri dressing ), and also a Ojo de Bife con Chimi ( Rib Eye Steak with chimichurri dressing ) , we also asked side dishes of potatoes and fresh tomato and salad. All food was really good and to get along with the meat we drunk an Argentinean Cabernet Sauvignon which price was really good for a restaurant. Service was really good, always smiling, helpfull and didn´t stopped asking sorry for all the noise the group of people were doing. We will be back for sure and hopefully in a more...
