atbangkok tallinn is a small thai restaurant a bit outside the old town (can take a bus/tram or walk). we are from california so were hesitant to try thai food abroad, but it was good. prices are reasonable and the service was good (i think we were served by the owner who was friendly + there was a thai chef in the back, dishes came out efficiently). servings are on the smaller side (dishes are more like individual portions). // red curry with pork (12 euros) // we read some reviews about the curry being too sweet so we got the red curry. it was still a bit sweet for my liking but had a bit of spice and good flavor--overall was tasty. it came with rice but we ordered more rice (2 euros). presentation was very nice with th e dishware. pork texture was a bit different than i expected and had a smaller amount of vegetables, but overall i tasted good. // chicken pad thai (10 euros) // smaller portion, but chicken was tender. flavor was good but i thought the pad thai was very sweet, too sweet for my preference. but it was still good.

Looking to warm from cold? Hide from the heat of sun? Welcome to the Asian household, Thai culture, you've found the one. A small restaurant where stories unfold To give you a glimpse into food beyond. Where dreams of travel are born, Memories from adventures reworn. Where not spicy means a pepper, Two will make you wish for water. Where panang is not a city, But a dish, so complex, so witty. Where Khob Khun is understood And the friendly smile sets the mood. Step in, step in! Don't step past. It's a win, an experience to last. Amazing little restaurant in Kalamaja. Offering the true Thai tastes. An absolute pleasure, a joy, a wide smile. Their Tom Yum is unforgettable. Their Phad Thai is a phenomenon. Where the staff just makes you feel like home... Welcome home!

Definitely the best Thai restaurant in Tallinn - a city infested by the horrible Frankenstein restaurants that combine Thai/Indian/Chinese into one fusion. We had red curry, pad thai, tom yum kai, ananas sorbet and all of them are fantastic. The spiciness and taste are on point. The pad thai is a bit sweeter than what I’m used to but the noodles are not at all mushy or overcooked like they used to be in the west. Hope that more people will embrace the authenticity and passion of this restaurant.

Yes this really is a hidden gem in Tallinn, actually I happened to pass by just to go to the Vaffell place next door as recommended by a friend but it was closed. Thought I'd give it a try and see how authentic it is and I've had plenty of thai food all over the world. Really just a handful of simple dishes and was not expensive at all, had lunch and a drink for around 12 Euros and left them a tip so 15 Euros total. As soon as I finished eating the place started to get full. Lovely day in Summer, glad I...
