Hands down, totally respect how they offer these amazing tastes of freshly cooked meals in unbelievably reasonable prices!! I’ve been curious about this little restaurant, but I didn’t have the courage to try because I was rather wary about their low price range. But today, I’ve been down with a terrible headache and cramp and couldn’t even go out for grocery shopping, so I finally got the gut to try their meals on Bolt Food delivery. I chose 2 sets of butter chicken curry with rice (2 for 1 offer) and 1 egg noodle with shrimp and chicken. I requested to have the 1st curry spicier and keep the 2nd curry at their normal spiciness.
They did it perfectly and I really liked their spicier version of curry. I lived in the East End of London so I prefer the real Indian taste. Blossom has it! The curry jar was full of tender chicken strips even though it was on the 2 for 1 x 40% off discount. As a restaurant owner myself in Tallinn, offering this great quality of dish at €2.7 per serving is absolutely incredible, and I regret that I ordered on Bolt because Blossom still must have paid for the transaction fee to Bolt and the package costs out of this small amount of sales.
The fried noodle was cooked with a variety of vegs, chicken and lots of shrimp. It was seasoned with soy sauce, just like what I had in Hong Kong. I purchased this at €3.0 thanks to the 40% discount, and again I feel like I ripped them off because Blossom is so generous with the volume of their meals. I’m a lady who eats more than an average European man can eat, and I’m saying this noodle dish was definitely bigger than one person’s serving.
At a total of €8.7 only, I enjoyed 3 different tastes from Indian and Chinese cuisines (the chef probably had been working in Singapore, considering from the range of Blossom’s menu). I am very satiated, and I still have about 3 servings of food for tomorrow. Blossom is definitely one of the most generous restaurants in Tallinn, and I’m getting worried if they could make any profit out of this Bolt Food delivery transaction (the delivery was free, so Blossom might have also covered this cost). I will definitely go for more of their meals as a walk-in customer...
Read moreOne of the fav places in town. Good price, amazing and authentic flavours.
The place is simple and only has 3 tables. But once you get a spot, it is totally worth it. Service is fast and friendly.
For 2 people we usually share: a soup (coconut soup is good, but the tomato one is divine, in picture) + a portion of eggplant pakora or spring rolls (in pic) + lamb green curry (in pic is the duck one) + plain naan + rice.
The only bad thing we ever tried here was the pad thai, don’t recommend at all....
Read moreIt's been the best Indian in Tallinn for years now, which makes tonight's disappointing dinner delivery even more sad. The usual mind blowingly spicy and exciting Vindaloo was a sad and sour, flat copy of a dish. The green curry (apparently worthy of 3 spice stars) was a boring and tasteless milky coconut soup. The pad Thai was an odd tomato based angel hair dish, no resemblance whatsoever to an actual pad Thai. Jeez, what...
