Short review: great background music choice, nice service and decoration, good view, good food on the most part but main dishes were a bit small and the mussels were disappointing.

Arrived here when restaurant only had one other small table. Our table was 8 people. Our drinks and entrees were good and arrived fast. Cocktails were also very nice. However we had a long wait for our main dishes. Looking around, all the other tables were also waiting for their food and it all suddenly arrived at the same time. I'm assuming something happened in the kitchen as the food was also a bit cool, especially for some. For example, steak had clearly sat for a bit as the inside was cool and the same with the fish filet.

The octopus steak meal size wise was a bit disappointing. One tentacle and two tiny roast potato pieces. I feel like the potatoes should have definitely been bigger, or there should have been more of them. Additionally, the mussels were a bit flavourless compared to prior experiences and did not want to come out of their shells well. Usually, the mussel is a nice single piece inside the shell, but here it is split amongst the two shell halves and appears to be very thin, making it hard to get out. As if there was nothing there.

After sending a steak back, they did give a warning that it would take a bit of time and the new dish was good and warm. I assume the colder food and long wait was a fluke. However, the problem with the mussels does feel like a quality assurance issue. Personally, I wish the staff would have told us what was going on just to inform us, but I guess that style of management is not for everyone.

In conclusion, for the price, the food does not entirely justify itself. The main dishes should have a bit more to them in terms of mass, and while I hope my experience was a fluke, the cold main dishes and long wait was definitely disappointing. If they lowered their prices a bit or added a bit more heft to their main dishes, I'd consider visiting again in the future so that they could prove if it was indeed a fluke or if they have any deeper issues in the kitchen. Especially, as I'd love to try some of the deserts on the menu, as last time we decided against it due to...

At 3:30 pm we were denied seating for 2 adults and 3 kids (1 of them 2yr old) despite that visually half of the tables were spare. Reason explained was that tables were booked for 5pm. We suggested a compromise that we would finish our meal before 5pm (1.5h is quite enough for late lunch/early dinner, we have tested that lots of times), however staff were not eager to serve us anyway. Seems they are not confident in serving quickly, likely due to having lack of personnel in the kitchen. And although premises look large, seems only one part is used to serve meals, other part I truly don't know what is for, or why meals can't be brought to those tables. But this is normal thing in Tallinn, that restaurants rotate in 2-3 years after losses made. We could have spent 150 euro + tips in 1 hour and everyone would be happy, but not given a chance. I have seen a lot how they do it in Italy, Spain or France, where tables are prepared within couple of minutes between visitors and staff is enforced by on-call duties should attendance increase. In Sweden once restaurant was super-packed even on Tuesday, and people were reserving days ahead, but we just came to this country and couldn't book ahead, however staff did the impossible and fit us inside for a quick meal. This is all training and management. Anyway, all is done to the best, we drove to Rotermanni, had our meal in a very good and cozy restaurant and still were able to complete it around 5pm. Hope some day I can get to check the food here, hope this is worth the trouble. Tallinn is very competitive venue...

Hello. I read your response regarding the comment from my wife, Viktoria, about our experience in Ocean 11. I can say that we asked the waiter if we could sit outside. They showed us where we could sit. After that, we waited for the menu for about half an hour, and I must note that we had to flag down the waiter ourselves as we didn't want to wait too long and had other plans. Eventually, the waiter took our order, and what do you think? We waited for coffee with Aperol for 10-15 minutes. I wanted to add that if there had been an apology for the delay, it would have made a big difference, but even that was not given. Then I asked for the bill so as not to wait a long time again. The bill came faster than what we had ordered. We actually wanted to order more food, but the service ruined the mood, and we didn't have any more time to wait. I would say that you really need to pay attention to this because it's your business. Our side is just constructive criticism. Have...

Ocean 11 offers a fantastic dining experience by the sea, with stunning views that set a relaxing atmosphere for the meal. The seafood platter was a highlight—fresh, diverse, and artfully presented, featuring everything from plump prawns to tender scallops. The octopus with paprika sauce was a standout; perfectly cooked with a hint of smokiness, the paprika sauce added a delightful warmth and depth to the dish. Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance, paired with the food, made it a memorable experience. A must-visit spot for seafood lovers in Tallinn!

On a Thursday evening (around 8.30 pm) I came through the whole city to explore this new place (it is located in the city center but somehow far from everything)- get a drink and enjoy the view. the restaurant was not full, tons of places inside and outside, but I got rejected: they said they have so many guests that couldn’t make a tea or coffee for me ;)) that’s pathetic. The view here is nice and generally it’s seems to be a sweet new place, but the service obviously needs improvement. Hardly I will give it another chance any time soon...

It was a wonderful evening at this restaurant. Located by the sea and harbor, the setting was cozy and charming. My favorite dishes were the Pasta with seafood, and the Chocolate-espresso brownie served with Vana Tallinn ice cream. A pleasant surprise was the dessert presentation, and Vana Tallinn ice cream is a must-try! I recommend this restaurant and these dishes. If you're going to dinner, you should also take a walk around this promenade. Summer sunsets are reaaly beautiful.
