Terrible meeting with a hotel employee!!!!||The day after we checked in: ||First of all, this hotel allow dogs. ||She stopped us at the reception saying our dogs was making noise and desturbing other clients at the hotel. When I asked why she thinks its our dogs, she said she had video tape of them, and that she heard them in another floor. Which was totally a lie, as we checked ourself if that was even possible. I told her there are many other dogs at the hotel this weekend. We have heard so, seen them and talked with the owners! So claiming it was just our dogs felt very unfair as we had ourself heard other dogs bark at the same floor. She was very rude, loud and aggressive. She also accused us for hiding our dogs, avoiding payment for them, even though we walked our dogs in and out the hotel many times a day… and even not to take care of them properly. She said in a very condescending way: «you leave the dogs at the hotel!!!» like it was a bad thing?! (We had been out eating dinner and the dogs where alone 4-5 hours) Why allow dogs If they can not be at the room alone for some time? ||She even threatened us with the hotel manager, to kick us out and call security! She refused to provide me with information and rules of the hotel when I asked. |She demanded payment of 120 euros and again refused to show me the prices when I asked for proof this is actually the right price. We have stayed in many hotels over the last years in Europe and NEVER payed that amount for dogs. Crazy prices!!!!||We booked our room from Booking.com and there was no place for us to tell we had two small dogs with us. (Both dogs 2,5 kg) |At the check-in friday 28.06 another woman in the reception did not mention anything about our dogs or payment for them. (She was very kind) We held the dogs in our arms, so there was no intention of hiding them. We also had their travel bags with us and was walking them around the lobby and outside. Impossible to not notice we had dogs! Since there also was NO information when we booked about prices to bring dogs, as well as not been asked to pay the day of check-in we assumed we could bring them for free. We had a room in the second floor.||I have never met such an unproffesional, rude, aggressive and unfriendly employee at a hotel in my entire life! We travel a lot so I have met many. Will never come back! The breakfast was very bad as...
Read moreWe were looking for a place to stay whilst in the city. Found this hotel, as they had good price and location as well. Location was really good as it was exactly in the city centre close to the harbour. If you want to see old town it is from a 15 minute walk. There were also free parking, which was very big plus for us.But when we got to our room, it was a bad sad/tired. Probably just as it's a bit older room, so it seemed a bit old, a bit empty felt. But in our room..well it was cold there. We tried turning on the heating, but seemed like it didn't work no matter how we tried. So we decided to sleep with clothes (yoga pants, T-shirt), as the blanket weren't really thick as well. Also the floors were quite cold, so would recommend socks or slippers for sure. The bed itself was lovely. The TV in the room, had some problems. Our breakfast was okay. The coffee tasted a bit burnt, so we went out for a coffee after also wasn't really much opinion what to take, it was pretty average. When we checked out, the reception lady was quite rude (seemed like it was busy there or something had just gone wrong) so the last impression when I walked out there was "I hope I don't have to spend another...
Read moreUnfortunately, I have to start with the worst part of our experience here: the staff. They are ridiculously indifferent to our problems. They barely respond to our “hello” or questions (i wonder if they are robots😅), most of them never smile back and don’t care about making our stay more comfortable. The breakfast has a few options, the same every morning: the coffee is average, the omelette is horrible, the bread is not fresh every day. Keep in mind that if you have a scheduled trip and you have to leave before breakfast you have to announce at least 24 hrs earlier if you want them to give you a packed lunch. Another tip: they won’t clean your room, change your towels or replace your toilet paper, unless you tell them to. Also, it is extremely difficult to keep warm-cold balance in the rooms. Sorry I have to tell that but the bathrooms smelled like urine all the time because of the sewer. Such a shame… A good point: you’re very close to Terminals A and D, so that’s perfect if you plan a trip...
