Armudu is a hidden gem in Tallinn, offering a delightful journey through Caucasian cuisine. The dishes are crafted with care, combining authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautiful presentation. We started with the cheese balls, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Served with a flavorful dipping sauce, they made for a great appetizer. Next came the stuffed eggplant, elegantly presented with fresh greens, walnuts, pomegranate seeds, and a touch of balsamic glaze – light, aromatic, and well-balanced in taste. For the main course, we ordered the meat platter – a true feast for grill lovers. We ordered two portions of shashlik (turkey and chicken) + stuffed aubergine rolls.

Sashlik portions were very satisfying. Me and my friend agreed on having just one portion shared next time as there are huge pieces of meat.

Atmosphere is also very cozy. Place itself is spacey, so there is a higher chance for you to come without having a table pre-booked over the week.

On the other hand, I was a bit disappointed with the service. Having interacted with 3 people in total, none of them were friendly or at least asking how was our dinner nor saying goodbye after payment was completed. I know that some days might be tough, but being nice and polite should not be a problem :(

Plus, stuffed aubergines were either not cooked correctly or undercooked at all. Aubergine rolls is my favorite dish and I have tried them couple of times in other Armudu places, so I was not expected that in Armudu at Lootsi something is going to...

We visited this restaurant without any expectations. In another words, we came just to check :) what an excellent experience it turned to be! Meat is juicy and presentation of meat-plate-4-2 is just beyond and above! Baked tomatoes are my new love! I recommend to take this plate, we were 2 and barely finished it.
