We are frequent visitors at Argentina, but first time had the worst experience with waitresses.
Booking table and arriving on time, the waitress in front door had some tech issues and we had to wait around 10 minutes, whilst they didn’t even explain what was wrong, apparently any other waiter could help with taking us to the table but we had ask them about this.
After we were seated, it took another 5-10 to get our order and another 50 minutes to serve our order.
During this time none of the waiters paid attention to our table and first time we asked them when they will be serving the food the waitress got nervous and starting almost shouting at us and telling that it’s written in the menu that waiting time is 40minutes. This thing she could have commented while taking our order not putting at on our face and trying to prove they are right and we are bad. We are not in exams and reading whole your menu and small letters they wrote it about waiting time shouldn’t be justification for such an awful service.
After waitress went somewhere to check about the order, in 5 minutes another superior came asking WHAT WAS OUR ISSUE. Manager who was supposed to be one checking on us came with even worst attitude and fighting back and talking at us. Then only when we explained back she said “what can I do so you don’t feel bad?”, what is this even about? Her offer was like doing us favor so we just shut up?!
In the end we got our food which was amazing, hats off to cooks!
We also ordered tap water and got small vase of water which they put in our bill for 2 euros. When we asked why tap water is on the bill the waitress said that it’s house rule and they put it in the bill. We asked to show us where it’s written this house rule and they couldn’t show one, just unwritten house rule to make people for tap water.
Overall worst servicing experience in Tallinn in 4 years that I’ve been...
Read moreJust amazing! Went here today first time to celebrate with my fiancee, and we were blown away by the great food, awesome atmosphere and amazing service. Hard to find a proper steak in Estonia, but here i got a Ribeye to die for! Imported from Argentina apparently, cooked to perfection - after 20 years in California I know a high-quality steak when i find one! And the pork ribs my lady had, Estonian sourced, were just phenomenal! Some incredible chefs here, all was flamegrilled. Grilled veggies - awesome, baked potatoes - awesome, bread - incredible. Portions were large, could only eat half, but they packed the rest for us to go. Prices were VERY reasonable for what you actually get! 2 hours of finest dining in Tallinn, including drinks we paid around 80€ for two of us. It is not cheap food, but you can't get this quality in most places, and it is trully worth it here if you plan to celebrate with an amazing meal :] I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you can afford to spoil yourself a bit - at least you know what you are getting is world class!!! You can easily spend as much at a subpar restorant instead and come away poorer. I felt it was worth every penny and great memories. And there are actually places to park (across the street by Prisma grocery store, it is free and spacious :)). We will definitely go again, just beware it is very popular. We went before 2pm and got great service, but by 4pm it was starting to fill up. Probably full by dinner time. Very happy with the experience and 5 thumbs up 👍 (ribeye 36€, ribs 25€, a beer and non-alco fresco 14€, total 84€ - on a budget just get the ribs and appetizer, theres enough...
Read moreLet's start with first impressions... We were left to wait for our reservation without any knowledge if we are being welcomed or not. The workers were rushing around like headless chickens and didn't say hi or even looked at us. A guy finally came to tell that we need to wait for few minutes altho it was past our reservation. 15mins after we were seated, but weren't asked if we wanted anything to drink. When we finally got our orders in everything went smoothly(except they forgot to bring water) and I got to tell, the food was superb! Well done sirloin and medium rare tenderloin were cooked to perfection, salad was fresh, and oh the baked potatoes! I could live by only eating them. Beef tongue was just as it's supposed to be, soft and juicy. With 15years of experience in waitressing i think that the place is very disorientated, one woman was running back and forth with one or two drinks, our waitress had tables to serve faar away from us as if they don't have this designated sections, one young woman was walking slowly as if she has no worry in her world altho the face was frowning the whole time, another lady acted as if she was on coke... I could go on and on about the service and how it was lacking, but I'd still go again for a damn tasty steak! Oh but don't order bread, a lady was cutting it with bare hands right after bringing in dirty dishes without washing hands in between. Get your workers cloves to cut the bread or at least a...
